"The place is very up-scale but casual just like the whole island. It would not hurt having it closer to "downtown" as the 15-min walk to another restaurant down a narrow road with no sidewalk gets tiring after a while. The pool is excellent and so is the service. "

"The hotel was a lovely retreat at the end of a long day touring the island, with some adorable and extremely friendly pets to welcome you back as well. Erika was incredibly welcoming and always made sure her guests were taken care of and was an excellent resource when it came to knowledge of the island and offered very good rates as a guide which was required to visit most places on the island. The rest of the staff were also lovely, especially Cony who seemed to work nonstop on any issue that came up for guests. Whether it was booking a taxi, figuring out tour options, translating everything to English or just making sure you had everything you could need for a stay, she was there every step of the way to ensure the stay was as fantastic as possible, all with a smile the entire time. 10/10"

"Picked up from the airport - lovely lady was waiting with a board with my name on it (and others) gave us all close garlands and a lovely tour of the island - food trucks, supermarket and where to get other bits. The hotel is LOVELYYYY - very nice and my room was huge - very clean and the WiFi works perfectly. Breakfast is very lovely too and healthy. You can tell they think about every last detail. I wanted to go to the Kari Kari show one night and they booked this for me. "

"Had a wonderful stay at Taha Tai. Truly enjoyed the dining experience, the amenities, and a clean and comfortable room with an in-room safe that fits a laptop. The location was perfect for exploring. It had a very warm feel. I stayed in the hotel (not the cabanas) and I really enjoyed it. The front desk staff were also very helpful in arranging tours and assisting with any questions I had during my stay. The environment was charming overall with a very Polynesian feel. I also appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor and landscaping. It was a great spot to enjoy a relaxing Easter Island getaway. The restaurant and breakfast were also very lovely. I look forward to returning again soon. "
