We had a lovely 3 night stay at this Hotel. We were greeted and looked after by a very friendly and caring host and staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good menu. We had room 3 with a big balcony overlooking the promenade with sunshine from early morning to late afternoon. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

The owner and staff members go out of their way to make sure that all guests feel welcome and cared for. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and been looked after (it's part of a package); but here it feels that it's on a more personal level (not because they have to). Well done to all at The New England.

Surprised the bed wasn’t made up or the bathroom cleaned. Morning breakfast made chef aware I didn’t like runny eggs and to ensure the egg yoke was hard on all of the breakfasts the egg yokes were runny I therefore couldn’t eat them that was disappointing. However everything else was to the highest of standards nice staff

We had such a lovely stay. A warm welcome from friendly staff, a beautiful two room suite that was comfortable and had everything we needed for our family and a delicious home cooked breakfast in the sunny breakfast room over-looking the seafront.

Incredible, hard working and very responsive staff. Adri and her team make this place feel like a family home. Location is also prime, yet tucked away behind the pier so you get the quaint ambiance of Eastbourne and it's a bit quieter.

Last minute Easter stay

A last minute Easter overnight stay, which we used a voucher to book through Hotels.com Location was good, right on the seafront. Parking is on street and difficult to find even this early in the season. Audrey was a great host, very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We were given an upgrade to a sea view room which was a lovely surprise. The room was lovely and bright with a large balcony. The room needed a little tlc - sockets not working, shelf over sink prohibits you from washing your face… Lovely hot full English breakfast, although obviously a new waitress so service to/from the kitchen was sketchy but I’m sure will improve with experience and a little confidence. All in all a nice little BnB and one we would stay at again!
