Bargain hotel with some downsides
This hotel is in a pretty quiet and in a convenient location. The rooms are clean. The downsides are that the rooms are VERY small. We had no room to do anything but get into bed and there was only one nightstand. The bathrooms are in need of some rehab. The shower had a curtain with pink mold and the door had exposed wood on the bottom where it had gotten wet too many times. If you’re picky, this is probably not the place for you.
Solo trip post hiking the Seven Sister's Cliffs. A beautiful and calm place to go to after a challenging hike. My room had a gorgeous view of the English Channel and the entire room and bathroom felt like you were staying in a top spa accommodation. Breakfast was of an array of nice choices. I will come again with my family!
Incredibly kind staff at checkin provided great restaurant recommendations for the area. Very clean, very neat, plenty of instant coffee in the room! Beautiful ocean views.
Last minute booking - wonderful room with 2 double beds and fantastic view over Marine parade and cliffs. Comfortable beds. Excellent hot shower. Fluffy towels. Good selection for breakfast and good value for money. Staff very friendly personable and welcoming. Excellent night's sleep. A lovely all rounder.

The original room we were allocated was a bit small so we changed to the family room. At an off peak price it was good value and I would summarise it as a cheap and cheerful hotel. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast at £6.95 per person was enjoyable.
I would return but only at off peak prices.
This was amazing value for money! The large room was recently renovated and the facilities were excellent. Top quality small hotel.

A boarding house pretending to be a hotel
Had dropped our bags off earlier in the day, got back to hotel at 10pm, night porter wanted to go eventhough the details say it is manned until 10:30.
Porter offered no help with our bags, 2 women up stairs.
While sections of the hotel have been updated the reception has the most terrible threadbare carpet.
Breakfast is basic served by people who only come in for that. So the hotel is unmanned during the night.
I booked a double and ended up getting room 9 at the top with a fantastic view. It was spacious, modern and the en-suite bathroom was lovely.
I would definitely book again as so convenient.
