Maine family vacation
PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked with every utensil you need to cook. All equipment for steaming lobster. The cabin was truly the best place we have stayed. Highly recommend this cabin if thinking of vacationing in Maine. Was real hard to leave and head home after our week stay. Will definitely be staying at cabin again in the future.

A wonderful lakeside getaway
This was just the camp vacation that we were looking for. The lake was lovely for swimming and kayaking. We had camp fires in the fire pit. The cool lanterns at night lit up the property nicely. The camp was very clean and suited our needs well. We enjoyed watching the birds on the lake. We would come back again next year.

Best Maine stay!
I am from california. We go to Maine a lot and this is the best stay ever! They have a lot to do on the property! Fishing, canoeing, swimming, playing! Just lots! I brought my twin babies which couldn’t really put them down anywhere except car seats. Annie brought baby items over! She brought us play pen and baby chairs so I can use. Thank you so much!!! Life saver!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! We love this place!!!

Lakeside Retreat
This property is fantastic! My husband and I came for a week, wish we had booked 2 weeks. House is very clean, nicely decorated and has everything you need to he comfortable. A step above other homes we have rented. Loved the patio and lake access. Used our paddle boards, went kayaking, fire pit at night, just enjoyed the nature and peacefulness. Nice little town, a couple of good restaurants. Explored Maine. Only good things to say about this property!

Best ever!
This is the best rental we have had. Over the years we have done many and this one really stands out. The home and yard were so well cared for, the hosts provided all the amenities we would need inside and out. We are so grateful for the chance to spend a week here with family and explore the lake.

Clean and bright property
We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was bright and clean. The kitchen had everything we reached for. Many lakefront properties are dark because of all of the rules regarding the vegetation near the lake. This property, on the other hand, has a nice large yard that is open and bright. The AC was a pleasant surprise and made for comfortable sleeping.

Dream get away
This lake house was equipped with everything anyone could ever want. We were amazed at the array of cooking supplies. From cutting boards to excellent knives. Baking dishes. Measuring spoons. Just perfect. The house was spotless. The lake was beautiful. The water inviting. Our host was wonderful. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you.

Relaxing Lake Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage on Gardner Lake. It was peaceful and relaxing. We had good weather and enjoyed all the outdoor seating options. We ate most meals outside. We brought our small boat and 2 paddle boards. We enjoyed using them, fishing, swimming and kayaking on the lake. We had a picnic and time on the beach at Roque Bluffs, did a hike on the Bold Coast trail in Cutler, and visited Lubec, which was beautiful. We got wild blueberries and peaches from Harmon Mountain Farm (which happens to be owned by a family from our hometown!)We enjoyed Helen's restaurant and the Bluebird Ranch in Machias, but also cooked a lot at the house. The house is a little tight on beds with 6 people, but we brought a blow up mattress and made it work. (Two sets of bunk beds would be great in the second bedroom :) Overall, we were happy with the cleanliness of the house, except for some pet hair on the couch and couch cushions. Natalie was a wonderful host. She went out of her way to communicate, be helpful and provide suggestions of things to do in the area. We enjoyed time around the fire almost every evening, and star gazing. It's a great spot on a quiet, pretty lake!

Wonderful Slice of Heaven
This camp is absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better or easier to access. My son (5) played non stop all week in the lake, on the beach and in the camp after dark. We enjoyed every bit of this place and will be hoping to rent again next year!
