Very Good

I LOVE this hotel. Full kitchen & dining area separate from sleeping area. LOTS of charm, non-commercial hotel hidden on historic Main Street. Convenient to resturants, bars and shopping. We will stay here again!
Perfect location! A little hard to find but once there, it was very convenient. We parked the car and walked all over.

Ok for short stay
The location is perfect for downtown Durango. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. The check in instructions are somewhat vague and we went up the stairs sort of wandering trying to find someone. We came across a room with the door open and some people said "you must be staying down the hall". We weren't sure if they were other guests, managers or what. Fans and a/c work, blow dryer, iron and nice spa products in the bath. They have a very sharp corner on the bed in the suite we were staying in and I injured my leg pretty good on it the morning we were leaving, so beware of that. The colors are pretty jarring. Bright mustard yellow and bright ketchup red. They have cute nostalgic items placed throughout and with a neutral grey or beige it would be more inviting in my opinion. It is fine for a short stay.

Okay for a very short visit
We stayed overnight. We had everything we needed but check in procedure wasn't clear. Very sharp corners on the bed in the room we stayed and I injured my shin pretty good.
We were a little hesitant to stay here because there were no reviews on hotels.com, but are we glad we did. We were in town for a soccer tournament and like to have a room with a kitchen to make it as close to home as possible. This hotel is right in the middle of downtown Durango. We stayed in the homebody room. One king bed and pull out sofa for the kids. This room does have a bathroom in it as a few of the other rooms have bathroom access outside of the room. Very clean. Very quiet. It was almost like we were the only ones in the building. Right next to the Irish Pub. Don't look for a big entrance it is just one door. Parking in the city lots with the pass was easy and close. We were emailed the code to enter the building a few days before our trip and when we got there the key was in the door.
