Beautiful location and kind and helpful staff! We arrived tired and hungry and the restaurant had closed, but they brought us a fabulous meal and wine!
We were very impressed by the photos and the high rating of this hotel but we were very disappointed. The hotel is priced as a 4 star hotel, but the accommodation is at most at a 2 star level. It took a while to find the hotel at night with a total lack of proper signs. Parking is at an unpaved lower level and luggage needs to be carried quite far and at steep stairs. Rooms are unpleasant and need an urgent upgrade, with minimal outdated low quality furniture, no place to sit and a tube screen TV. No WiFi in rooms despite what was written. You need to unplug the (single!) bed lamp to charge your phone. One of the 3 rooms we reserved was supposed to be "premium" but we could not tell which one it was. Rooms were also over heated. The outside part of the hotel is an opposite to the rooms, great setup in the middle of a vineyard. Breakfast was continental and minimal, the worst we had during our 8 days in south Italy.
Lovely unique place. Nice grounds and friendly staff. Very good food. Shower a little small, but understandable in renovations. A little hard to fine but worth it!
Gorgeous setting--beautiful old manor hotel in the middle of Italian grape fields--what could be better? Fantastic experience. Only 12 guest rooms--old but mostly updated, porches, super high ceilings with original wood and doors. New bathroom. Grounds are awesome amid the grapesvines and Italian countryside. Restaurant served an amazing chef's choice meal. Pipi the resident dog greeted us with a bow, each time we came home. The perfect romantic event space--there were two weddings when we were there...
Tenuta Torre Gaia is tucked away in the Benevento countryside, surrounded by vineyards and orange trees. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Nice, comfortable room, where you awaken to the roosters crowing and a
beautiful sunrise.
You will enjoy the profound hospitality, in particular, ask Alex for anything and you will not be disappointed. The bed is very comfortable, the hotel is magnificently restored. The hotel grounds are ample. What stands out is the superb hospitality. Worth a stay!
Torre Gaia has 5 star personalized service. The dinner in the restaurant is excellent. It is one of the nicest places I have stayed in Italy.

Picture perfect Family stay
What this place lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for with charm. Everything was local and made with pure pride. The services was personal and outstanding! The grounds are picturquse. More of a B&B feel than a resort. Highly recommend for a family stopover between Rome and Tropea.
Beautiful renovated manor house in the Middle of a vineyard, this hotel creates a little paradise on earth. The renovation is to very high modern standard.
Staff is very friendly and the food served is very good. You are made welcome immediately.
You need own transportation as it's some 4 km from the nearest village, which gives it the serene environment we were looking for, and we did not mind that the internet was slower than we are used to :)
Lovely pool & terrace - very tranquil and relaxing, with great views over vineyards to the distant mountains (although the main road was not so far away, this didn't mar the view or tranquility at all). Very friendly, helpful staff. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable, with an authentic 'Italian feel' to it (although unfortunately no view). Dinner was excellent (we were the only guests that night, and had a table laid for us by the pool, which was very romantic), and breakfast was also excellent.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting with spectacular views of gardens and mountains. Has a large infinity swimming pool. Bike trails. Rooms are comfortable but bathroom shower was very small. Staff was great. They are well known for their own vines and as a gastronomy destination. The Royal Palace of Caterra is 10 minutes away. Highly recommended.
The hotel, staff, food, service were absolutely exquisite. We booked for one night and extended for 2 more it was so wonderful. Even with that we hated to leave. It was our first night in Italy and are planning on staying 20 more. However, i know that the bar was set so high by the folks at Tenuta Torre Gaia, none of our other hotels will stand a chance. We travel the world lots, and this was the best!
This restored monastery was a relaxing and fun experience! With only 3 people in the whole place combined with a picturesque countryside, it made for a perfect stay. A day spent by the pool, sipping wine, eating local antipasti, great conversation and the occasional swim. Only bug was the mosquitoes but we had the spray. To be expected at that time of the year.
This hotel was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have been happier with our one night stay, wishing I could stay longer. The service was top of the line, comparable to North American service. The attention to detail was incredible. Nello and his staff were extremely pleasant and there for anything you needed. The food was fantastic and their house white wine was delicious. I can't wait to return and I will be going back my next trip to Italy! Highly recommended!
A great hotel which was an excellent family friendly stopover - very high spec and very reasonably priced. Made a real effort with kids and not at all stuffy.
