Casa Luna - Bryce Cyn & Zion Nat'l Parks Homebase

Casa Luna, or ‘House of the Moon’ is your next destination situated under the bright stars of the Utah night sky. Conveniently located near Zion, Escalante, and Bryce Canyon National Parks, your vacation can be an adventure or relaxing oasis among nature. Spanish for ‘House of the Moon,’ Casa Luna is a two-level home with three bedrooms including a King and two Queen beds, accommodating a total of six people.

Picture yourself here within the peaceful Elk Ridge Estates to enjoy any season and all that the beauty of Utah has to offer.

This quaint cabin looks like a rustic home on the outside, but outfitted with all the modern amenities you could need on the inside. As you enter Casa Luna, you’ll see a comfortable open living room complete with sectional leather sofa for up to six people. Gather around the electric fireplace with friends or family to stream your favorite movies and shows on Hulu Live TV and Netflix up on the 70” flat screen tv. All of your favorite home technology amenities are included, such as an Amazon Alexa and Echo, Nest thermostat and smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and 50 Mpbs wireless internet. The kitchen is fully stocked with an induction stove, wall oven, microwave oven, and pantry with all utensils and plateware. If you’re a coffee traditionalist, you’ll fall in love with grinding your own roasted beans with an unforgettable scent, using the provided coffee grinder and maker.

As you make breakfast in the kitchen, enjoy the views outside while your guests play foosball and board games at the dining table. Nintendo video games offers a nostalgic throwback, and Spotify can play your favorite tunes.

Sliding open the door from the open living room, breathe in the fresh air that only the Utah forest can provide. The expansive Casa Luna deck is breathtaking at eye-level with the towering forest trees and the mountain range on the horizons. The gas grill can cook up a feast for everyone while your guests admire the astonishing views. Kick back around a propane fire table for six, talking until the late hours warmed by the glow of the fire. Fancy a closer look at the night sky? Take out the cabin telescope to view the constellations up close.

Ready for the most restful night of sleep you can ask for? Enter the lower level of the cabin to find a King bed in the primary bedroom, two rooms each equipped with a Queen bed, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo along with a washer and dryer. If you enjoy a warm bath, enjoy a long soak in the giant tub. Each room has muted Southwestern décor and double nightstands with lamps, perfect for each person to have their own comfortable space.

If outdoor sports and activities are your idea of a dream vacation, Casa Luna is perfect for you. From fishing at Navajo Lake or Panguitch Lake, to regular ATV tours departing from Duck Creek Village, and even a short 120 miles to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Day trips are endless with Casa Luna as your base.

A code to access the doors will be sent the day of arrival

The neighborhood is what makes this location perfect. Chip seal roads (No dust and no ATVs racing through the roads) and lots of deer and wild turkeys wonder around the area.

Casa Luna rests on top of a small hill which gives it amazing 180 degree views of the mountains. There are 2 parking areas. We recommend parking in the lower area if your are not confortable driving on a steep road.

Perfect location and home for a hiking adventure
This was the perfect home for a group of friends to use as a home base for hiking adventures in the big canyons as well as exploring local trails that were just as spectacular. Everything we needed was in the home. We cooked many meals here including a birthday cake (had to look up instructions for baking in high altitude). Lots of seasonings and cooking supplies were available as well as fun and games. It was perfect.

Thankful for Casa Luna!
Came for the Thanksgiving holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Luna! Communication with John & Tony was extremely quick and helpful. The home is as pictured ~ very clean, latest appliances, lots of space, great water pressure, comfy memory foam beds, plush/soft towels and a beautiful master bathroom! We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful property
The house was as pictured and described. It was stocked with many essentials including a full pantry and spices needed for cooking as well as dishes and grill. It was very comfortable with air conditioning and heat if needed although it was hot when we stayed there so we only used the air conditioner. We loved sitting on the deck and relaxing by the fire pit in tge evening. We would highly recommend staying here. Communication with Tony was good. The power went out while we were there and I messaged him and he got right back to me with a number to call to report it.

Ideal Property!
Casa Luna checked all of our boxes for a perfect stay in Southern Utah. My husband, son and I wanted to explore Bryce, Zion and the general area. Casa Luna was situated in a great location, allowing us to hit all areas easily during our stay. The house was wonderful with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It had everything we needed, especially since we brought our own food to cook meals while we were there. Everything was very comfortable and the outside deck had a wonderful view. The hosts were very accommodating as we had to make a last minute change in dates due to a family emergency. We were able to reschedule our time with no hassle. I would absolutely come back and stay here the next time we come to Utah

A Little Piece of Heaven
Casa Luna is a very well-situated property that has a very nice and private view. This house had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, we felt completely at home. There were a few minor issues that we experienced, however, these were issues that can be expected in any home. The property managers were very quick to respond to these issues and Tony and John were very nice to work with. We would stay again at this property because of how completely at home we felt.

Perfect location for day trips
This is a great house located perfectly for day trips to Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks among others. Slot canyon nearby. We were a family of four and it was perfect sized and allowed us to take days off between major hikes. I will echo other comments that there are no local grocery stores nearby (there are convenience stores) so plan accordingly. We packed a collapsible cooler in our luggage to shop on the way there. Owners responded within minutes to our inquiries. At the time of this writing you will not need any spices, cooking oils or sugar! Plenty on site. Beds were comfy, house very clean and we spent a few nights gazing at the stars. Even saw a Starlink launch aftermath go across sky which was incredible. Overall very good experience and great location to explore.

Casa Luna was perfect!
I chose this property for its location between Zion and Bryce Canyon, and it was perfect! It took us 45 minutes both ways to get to the parks. The house is super cute and very clean! The communication was great and Tony checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Easy check in and out. We would definitely stay here again on another trip back to see the parks again.

Beautiful house, perfect location between 2 parks, Chains required in winter months.
We both loved the property. The house is in a perfect location and the starry nights were just wonderful. We really enjoyed the fire pit/table, sitting out on the cold evening enjoying a hot chocolate, and watching the stars and fire. The driveway and entry ways were a challenge, requiring 90 minutes of shoveling to clear the stairway and driveway gate. I call that part of the charm. The steep driveway was a challenge. Backing up is impossible without chains and backing down is impossible, so I had to do an 11-point turn on the flat portion of the driveway. This resulted in occassionally backing into the snow banks, clogging my tailpipes and causing my hybrid engine to fail. This was definitely a learning experience. My suggestion is to flatten out that portion of the driveway immediately below the stairs, thus providing enough room to turn around, before heading out. In any case, my tip for future guests is to bring chains in the winter months to avoid the issues I created for myself.

Can We Give It A 10 Star Rating?!!!
As mentioned by many reviews, this place scores 5 stars in every category, so risking redundancy, I will mention our favorite features. Our family loves to cook and cook we did without ever missing a single piece of equipment. My personal favorites were the electric tea kettle and the induction cooktop. For the grandkids it was the games, especially the foosball table. The parents loved the open, sunny environment which was comfortable, attractive, but not precious which made it very relaxing of everyone. Best of all is the location, between Bryce and Zion. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Come here and enjoy your stay as we did!

A Beautiful & Divine Vacation Spot for Visiting Southern Utah
This home was perfect for us in every way. Very clean, updated, beautifully decorated for our Southern Utah Discovery trip. Everything & more we could ask for from a luxury kitchen with lovely appliances, stocked with essentials, reverse osmosis water system with minerals added in, comfortably appointed living space , including the outdoor space… we loved the deck - day and night. The bed was super comfy and bathrooms were so nice. We loved how close we were to Bryce Canyon & Red Canyon and Zion was not far either. I am so thankful to the owners for all of their detailed attention that made this a spa like vacation for us! Thank you! We hope to visit again, soon.

Beautiful, clean, uncluttered but extremely thoughtfully and generously stocked. Very comfortable beds and couch, amazing showers, great mud room, beautiful porch and view of the stars in the night sky. Exceptional kitchen if you plan on cooking or grilling on the porch. Convenient location to Cedar City, Bryce and Zion. More in the area to do than we could possibly visit in one trip. Excellent communication with hosts. We were ready to move in for months! We loved staying at this comfortable home for several nights. It's perfectly located for visits to Zion and Bryce Canyon. John and Tony are excellent communicators and responded quickly to questions about the rental while we were there. The house has everything a family could need for an extended stay and is very kid friendly. There's some noise from the nearby highway.
