The views of the Mississippi from rooms on east side of building made the rest of the stay tolerable. Great walking paths right next to hotel and plenty of parking. We stayed 2 nights and ate breakfast at 8 am on day 1, and 9 on day 2. Recommend going EARLY!! Both mornings, the “regular” coffee was empty and only decaf remained, not great for starting the day without caffeine! Otherwise, good selection of food items as long as there was place settings to serve yourself on or utensils to eat with. Staff were almost non existent so getting access to these items once gone was not easy. We were traveling on short notice and booked hotel while traveling to location, so didn’t have opportunity to read reviews or research offerings. We had 2 connecting rooms and found out after kids swam in pool that neither bathroom had conditioner provided. Not great for girls with swim hair! Bring your own! Water park was ok, but really showing its age with the metal rusting through. Lazy river is lazy but really not a river. Kids had fun but overall, water park is in desperate need of some updates!

The room was less than expected for the price. The room was small there were only two plug in’s that were accessible and the tv and lamps took up the plug ins so phone charging overnight was a challenge. There was carpet lifted and pulled back in one corner. The shower head was broken/leaking terribly. The water was hot tho. The room was small for the price. The waterpark itself was decent but small for the price again. The lazy river is extremely small and has little “current”/very slow moving. The water temp in the kids area was freezing but they could get in the hot tub here to warm up definitely a perk as most places do not allow kids in the hot tub. They do have an arcade and kids craft area which was a nice addition. The front desk staff was nice and helpful altho very chatty umungst themselves and they had a staff no call no show for the night which we shouldn’t have heard all about. Overall it wasn’t bad. I however will not book here again. Room 329

The gentlemen that checked us in was courteous. He told us there would be brunch in the morning from 6:30-9 a.m. When we got there, there was no brunch. There was a to-go breakfast in paper bags. The signs in the resort show pictures of the breakfast - sausage, eggs, etc. - very misleading. When I asked the lady at the desk this morning about the breakfast, she just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know.

Employees didn’t seem to know any information except to check you in. Couldn’t help with my problems with checking in. No bathroom close to entrance when checking in. Make sure to bring earplugs if you want to go to the water park or pool!!!!! Room was ok except for a VERY short shower curtain. Breakfast was very poorly staffed and not enough employees to keep up with putting it out. Gets 2 stars out of 5 🙁
