Had a wonderful stay. They surprised us with some cupcakes when we mentioned it was our anniversary, which was amazing. Only one issue: the room service has no vegetarian or vegan options, barring some desserts. Couldn't even order chips/fries. Otherwise a perfect stay.

The room was comfortable but we were disappointed with the view. We had been told at check–in we were being given an upgrade –and maybe the room was better than it would have been otherwise – but out of the window all we could see were the bins in a back street. Breakfast was pleasant but the (overflow) breakfast room was crowded and loud. The staff were many, friendly and helpful. Did we get good value for the high price we had paid? I am not sure, hence the rating.
