Non-smokers beware…

Hotel was quite nice but the smell of cigarette smoke was horrible in our room. It was coming through our vent and the hallways were also full of smoke…we were in a smoke-free room/floor but obviously didn’t matter. We mentioned it to the front desk but they didn’t seem to offer any solution(s).

Nice rooms, quiet, clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff at reception, bar and breakfast. Nice breakfast with good choices. Not right in the centre of town, so need to walk 20mins or so to Grafton St, but 2 or 3 nice restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again

The young man who checked me in must have previously only dealt with prison inmates. He was unwelcoming, unhelpful and generally in a bad mood. The parking in and out privileges are a nuisance. Parking here is not very convenient.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety to choose from, and the services offered made everything super convenient. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Clayton. The front desk staff here were some of the friendliest we’ve ever had, and helped with our bags and questions. We had breakfast there twice and it was very good. The bar area was nice and stayed open late. All the wait staff and bartenders were fantastic too. It is about a 25 minute walk to Trinity college area which we did a few times, but we took cabs a lot too. Great pub next door.
