Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Staff and room were good overall but the menu is drastically overpriced and quantity and choice is extremely limited.
Exterior does not give the best impression when you approach an empty car park but don't be put off, once in the hotel is well presented and the staff very helpful. Rooms are perfect for a stop off and a good breakfast.
The hotel was very nice and of a high standard very welcoming staff.
The outside was not very appealing, especially when arriving i saw highway trucks parked. And the flower beds vey overgrown.
I didn't realise how from from the neareat Town was,and no bus service available, i let to go for a walk evening's and enjoy local atmosphere.
Not available here im afraid.
I wanted to take my granddaughter to Weymouth, it’s about 15 miles outside of Weymouth bay but there is plenty of parking at the bay.
The hotel was lovely and all the staff were friendly, however it wasn’t ideal for my trip as I didn’t really want to drive into Weymouth.
staff were friendly & helpful. though parts of the hotel were old it had been recently painted & my room was clean & felt fresh. They are due to have new carpets soon.
the menu for breakfast & dinner were linited- ok for a few days but not for longer.
although out of the way it was close to many great attractions
Staff were very friendly, AC not working , bathroom radiator / heating constantly on, bath mixer fault only warm water not hot , shower pressure low, unable to open the window due to the locking bar broken, tv from the 90’s and the room / hotel could do with a freshen up.
Had a great stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was fantastic. Highly recommend the local steak if it's on the specials board. Well stocked bar with a huge selection of spirits. Filled up on the full English breakfast each morning. Well worth adding that option!
Outside and car park could do with a spruce up but don't let that put you off, the interior is fantastic!

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Rooms were big and clean, breakfast set up not to good room we ate in was not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel and breakfast average.
Nice little hotel, very clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Only minor issue was the bathroom was absolutely roasting hot because the heating towel rail never seemed to turn off
I didn’t even make it into the front door.
As we drove in there was one car in the car park and no signs of life as you looked inside. My first impression was that all the windows were shuttered up but it was the grey murky curtains it didn’t look appealing. I always take things on first impression and that was it. Very run down out side. Yet the pictures on the site make it look very appealing and smart
