Romantic Mark Twain Current River Treehouse Glamping Getaway

Welcome to our newly constructed Ozark glamping treehouse that sits on 3 tranquil acres nestled in a holler less than a quarter mile from Mark Twain National Forest. While this unique space is the perfect private romantic getaway, its location makes it easy for you to get around.

You are only:

1 mile to Current River
1 mile to Mark Twain National Park
4 miles to Doniphan
14 miles to Irish Wilderness

Every aspect of this glamping treehouse has been thoughtfully constructed to furnish you with all of the creature comforts of home in an outdoor experience.

Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? No silly, that's just our lavish queen-sized memory foam mattress! Drift off into serene bliss to the sounds of hoot owls, whippoorwills, spring peepers, crickets, and many other nighttime critters. If we just had David Attenborough, you'd think you were in an episode of BBC's Planet Earth.

Sure, eating out at great restaurants is super fun, but sometimes we need a home-cooked meal. Our kitchen (indoor and outdoor) is stocked with all of the essential utensils and dinnerware to exercise your culinary prowess. Get your Gordon Ramsey on! Just make sure you can do on a hotplate, microwave, or a propane grill. ;)

The open-concept area includes a queen-sized bed, kitchenette (hot plate, coffee maker, mini-fridge, sink, and cooking gear), and a futon couch with coffee table.

Drip coffee maker, coffee, creamer, and sugar will be provided.

There is a full-size outdoor shower with hot water. shower basics like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. The toilet is a composting toilet with cedar chips provided. Think "little house on the prairie", but without the stink. :)

The shower is heated, but the water in the kitchenette is not.

You are welcome to explore the area on the side of the access road the treehouse is located on. Please do not enter the land that is on the north side of the access road.

There is a seasonal safari tent (this is closed during winter months) that is near the treehouse (approx. 150 yards away) guests are free to interact with one another, but there is plenty of space to have complete privacy.

We let guests have their space. If you need anything please reach out through the app. If there is a problem that requires immediate assistance, we are located in the RV or Barndominum (depending on whether or not the Barndo is booked).

Please remove any muddy or wet shoes before entering the treehosue! You are welcome to bring house shoes or slippers for inside. You may also want to bring water boots/shoes for your adventures in the creeks!

Please keep in mind you are in the woods! We are not aware of any specific animals that are frolicking around but we cannot guarantee that there aren't! Please be responsible to take special care of protecting yourselves!

You may or may not receive cell service. This has been hit or miss depending on your carrier.

The mini split on the wall does not work, but there is a window unit installed.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchenette with a refrigerator and an oven.
Guests will find features like onsite parking.

Treehouse retreat
If you’re looking to get away from everything this is your place. Very tranquil and relaxing. Everything you need but more about the scenery! We had a great relaxing time! Would definitely visit again!

Great Treehouse
Great little treehouse for 1-2 people. As long as you're not expecting super modern amenities, you'll have a great time. Our only issues were the heaters seeming a little undersized and a handful of wasps kept appearing in the outside toilet/shower room.
