Our stay started out poorly. The front desk person was not sure of much. Ahe gave us our key to a first floor room. Upon entering the room, we found the window would not lick and appeared to have been forced open at some time. We wrnt back to the desk and waited for the desk person to help us. The hotel was very clean and updated. Our room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and offered plenty of options. My only complaint is that we did not get any sleep on Saturday night due to an argument a few doors down from our room which ended in a gun fire. My daughter had to call 911, and this incident went into morning hours. This was a very frightening incident and we were never notified by text or email. I felt like there should have been some sort of communication sent to the guest warning them of this danger. We were unable to sleep with all the commotion outside our room so we were all tired the next day. This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in and I would stay again, I'm just sad that this incident took place in the hotel we stayed at and just a few doors down from us.
