The situation of the hotel , so close to the bustling heart of the town. The only negative point I would make is that rooms facing the château are right next to a busy road and it can be noisy especially onThursdays as it is market day in Duguesclin square.

Small hotel on a busy street but no traffic at night! Our room was small but lovely view of rooftops. Friendly staff, most excellent breakfast. Only grumble is only 2 (herbal!) tea bags, 2 sachets coffee,no milk, and not keen on hot drinks in cardboard cups or plastic beakers in bathroom. Surely not that eco friendly… Generally a pleasant stay, nicely run hotel.

Great location, with chargeable parking below, tiny but usable lift to the top floor with all our luggage! Comfortable bed but pillows too thin. Helpful and friendly staff, overall fantastic stay!
