We rented a room with a spa tub. When we got there and used the tub, the jets were not working and the water had floating dirt from the tub not being cleaned. The bathroom was also out of hand soap in the bottle. We asked the front desk to have someone fix the tub while we were at dinner and it still didn't work. They gave us excuses but not solutions. We ended up having to manually open all the jets ourselves to fix it. Not happy with the front desk and maintenance staff.

Terrific experience
Great location, big room, very clean, awesome staff that is very friendly! This hotel is immediately off the freeway and getting into Detroit for the game and to Henry Ford Museum was fast and easy. I'm not sure why people are whining about the breakfast-- yogurt, instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, waffle station, very good bagels and TERRIFIC coffee. It's a continental-style breakfast and if you MUST have bacon and sausage, just drive 1 minute down the road to Tim Hortons, Wendy's, etc. The hotel was quiet, and the decor was very cool. We stayed 2 nights and the staff was always super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

It is located right by a train track which was right outside our window. The area we were in was not a safe area. Our room was gross there was tissues toys and wrappers on the floor. You couldn’t even open the bathroom door all the way because the bed got in the way. There was boogers on the walls. Hotel smelled like weed even from the staff who were obviously high. When we went down for breakfast when there was still an hour left, there was no food!!!

Very comfortable place! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I got upgraded to a suite upon check-in. Room was quiet, as it was on the 3rd floor. Since I was there for work, I loved having extra space inside the room to work. Clean and comfortable, will definitely stay here again!

I am not sure how would someone rate this property 8/10 because we booked this hotel based off that rating on Experian. In reality - customer service was average at best, check in process took more than 30 minutes, when it shouldn’t be more than few minutes as the booking was already done and paid for through Experian. Room - Room door was not closed all the way even after closing. It was misaligned and almost an inch gap was at the bottom of the door. You can see outside CLEARLY through it and we felt really unsafe being there. Moved the room table to the front of the door as a barrier. Bathroom sink was the most disgusting we have ever seen. Water was not draining at all! And felt really disgusting after using it. One of the employees mentioned that “they’re in desperate need of maintenance but owner of the hotel wouldn’t hire one”, and it clearly showed in the condition the room was. For the price and the area there were other options to choose from and of course we won’t be staying here ever again. This is an unbiased review of our stay there.

I was not pleased. The staff were friendly, but the property itself was not what I’m use to. The breakfast was terrible. The pool was not open. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. I was traveling with my elderly mother, and it was hard for her to use the bathtub because it was high and steep. The noise level was horrible; it was extremely loud in the middle of the night; I’m sure the staff heard, but nothing was done about it. I will never ever stay here again.
