I loved the location of this room. It was close to so many museums of all kinds. It was charming and I’m so glad someone has saved this older home for many people to enjoy. Wonderful place and great breakfast, too.

The room was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. The only trouble was that the room was slightly cold.
This was an excellent, historic stay with superb amenities and a lovely staff. I cannot recommend it more. I feel really lucky to have stayed in such an amazing inn, and to learn about and be able to appreciate this unique place. See for yourselves and enjoy your stay
The king room in which I had booked was unacceptable ,cold ,with broken blinds, carpet terribly fatigued. We downgraded to a Queen room, which was okay.. We had a stay at this site 8 years ago and found it quaint and charming. Now it's just rundown. They did offer us a refund for the downgrade. But said it would have to come from you. Since I used you as the third party. So if you contact them, they will OK the downgrade and pay you. You and in turn you can credit us. Thank you Mike
Nice variety at breakfast. Parking was easy and fee was reasonable. The bed and bedding was incredibly comfortable!! the temperature of the room was a bit hard to regulate, too cool for the first snow day of the season.

Overall all a good experience: beautiful property in a centralized location. I dealt with a pushy, rude employee (I think she was a manager) who aggressively try to persuade me against booking on Hotels.com, even as Hotel.com quoted me a price that $50 a night lower. Otherwise, the staff I met at the property in-person were kind and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable, but the carpet and some of the furniture seemed a little worn and perhaps should be replaced. Not a big deal.
My wife and I travelled to Detroit to see Matt Rife perform. We found the Inn during our online search for accommodation. It lived up to its' reviews as the building(s) are beautiful and full of rich architecture.
The check in experience was very efficient but I believe it was aided by the email the Inn sent ahead of time to 'pre-check-in'. Accessing the room was simple and our entire stay, we never heard any noises from other tenants. There were three rooms on each floor of the house we stayed in so the privacy was an unexpected bonus.
In terms of the bed, it was acceptable however my wife's side had a noticeable dip but that didnt affect our sleep. The chair in the room on the other hand was likely the most comfortable chair ive found at a hotel.
It is conveniently located to Downtown Detroit and i was thoroughly impressed throughout the entire stay.
Breakfast was as expected. It was continental and it offered plenty of variety. Service was great throughout and i strongly endorse staying!

The room was okay. Carpet was stained and the furniture is worn. You can also hear a lot of outside noise so sleeping could be an issue.
Beautiful buildings, well maintained and renovated. Good amenities and breakfast. Good location near the QLine and the institute of art. Friendly welcome.
The room clean and in great condition but to get there required that we haul our luggage up a narrow stairway to the 3rd floor. The staff was not welcoming and did not seem very interested in our welfare. The Ferry Inn was more like an AirBNB than an Inn.
