We really wanted to love this hotel but it needs some attention. Bathrooms in the rooms had mold all over the ceilings. There are no exhaust systems in the bathrooms. They tried to tape up the wallpaper in the hallway. Carpet is old and bunched. Rooms were super dark and out dated.

Got a call few hours before check in we had to move from the cottage to the main building due to no hot water. The room we were given was small with a whirlpool. I was disappointed we weren’t given something that was about the same as the king theme cottage with the whirlpool and fireplace we had paid for. The hotel was empty so I’m unsure on why we didn’t get a better room than a standard king room.

Clean room, great atmosphere and excellent staff. Room was clean and no gross “hotel” smell. The only thing negative is we had a jet tub room and we had no hot water to enjoy it. The shower had no hot water either, along with no water pressure.

The whole hotel is deteriorating. We were up graded to a cottage room and it was more like a down grade. Didn't even have a chair to lounge in.They pretty much ignore the building. After several trips here I doubt we ever go back.

The room itself was ok this time. This hotel is declining. There is a constant smell of marijuana in the hotel and the cottages, the last time that we stayed and wanted a room with an in-room whirlpool we were told that there was one available but it is typically used by the male prostitute on a regular basis (we passed), the hot tub is not working correctly, the sauna has been closed since we first stayed in early 2025, there are rooms that have things falling apart (ones that we have previously stayed in and we spoke with other guests that had the same complaints). There are places where the carpets are buckling, wall paper is peeling off, water is dripping from the ceiling and appears to have been this way for some time, there are sheetrock seams held together with packing tape.... We first started staying there in the cottages in January of 2025 and have seen a rapid decline over this year. We keep hoping that they would have remedied the issues, but they've only gotten worse. It's sad because this place has the potential to be a really nice place.

My husband and I have stayed at this property multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay. This time stayed on the cottage side instead of the hotel I love the cabin feel and all the decorations and different rooms within the cottages to hang out in including our room that we picked. Our first night was quiet for the most part, second night heard very loud noise, children running down the hall,opening and closing doors, child crying in the middle of the night. We heard one of the other guests say something to them about the noise. I would suggest to the hotel to put and attendant in the building at the desk area. There were a few minor maintenance things in our room wall paper peeling above the shower, wiggly faucet on the Jacuzzi tub very minor would be a quick fix for that Need improvement on cleaning. Upon check in toilet was dirty from previous guest, and the fridge had a very foul smell had not been wiped down inside, also needed to be defrosted. Luckily I had some cleaning supplies with me so I was able to remedy the problem pretty quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again.
