First time in Delray really enjoyed the experience. My room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, and the service and amenities were terrific.

Beautiful property, except still under renovations. We loved our room and bathroom. Valet situation was troublesome, we were hurried out of our car to the lobby but our room wasn't ready for hours - we felt misplaced. Yet once we got to our room, all our cares dissolved. It was beautiful and comfortable.

Pros: the staff was very friendly, from valet, to the front desk, bellhops, and the barista. The check in process was smooth and the room was very clean. Cons: this hotel is still undergoing construction in their bar and hotel pool area. I stayed in room 222 and I was woken up at 8 am by hammering and drilling sounds. I had work meetings and unfortunately wasn’t able to work from my room. I went outside to their outdoor area and the solution was short lived as they don’t have laptop outlets there or business/conference rooms. Their main pool at the hotel is still being renovated. So only the option is their beach club pool/restaurant/beach access which is a short shuttle ride. I asked for a room accommodation due to the noise and was told the property was booked out. I really wanted to like this property because of the location and it seemed more private but I will stick with the Opal hotel which offers beachfront views and all of their amenities are available (pool and various dining options)

Poor service and a disappointing stay.

This was a disappointing stay. The service ranged from excellent (pool service, though admittedly that's at the Beach Club) to overly chatty (bellhop) to disinterested (front desk and wait service at the Beach Club restaurant). The facility is beautiful, and the Beach Club is awesome We had two issues that were rather frustrating. First, we requested non-feather pillows to accommodate an allergy, and we were assured by the front desk (twice) that the hotel has no feather pillows. We arrived rather late and we had a baby that needed to go to sleep as soon as possible. Once the baby was asleep and we laid down, we realized that all of the pillows were down pillows. Rather than wake the baby and summon the chatty bellhop, we just slept on them and asked for it to be resolved the next day. It was not resolved until late in the evening after three requests. Second, there was a fire alarm test that was scheduled for Thursday within a certain time window, so we made plans to be out of the hotel at that time, especially with our baby. The alarms started going off on Wednesday and went off several times, while the baby was sleeping. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they were remarkably disinterested and unapologetic, simply explaining that there was a mix up with the town. I truly hope that this hotel can pull it together. Good service is difficult to come by these days, but at the price point this hotel is seeking, it's a must-have.

We stayed at the Seagate for the second time and we were a bit disappointed because they were on renovation. The noise started every morning around 7:45. Also, the room was really noize .. we heard are neighbours talking , coughing….
