Great Views and Wonderful Staff

The hotel was such a great spot to stay! The access to the beach was amazing and they provided towels and chairs. There was ample seating to sit and look out at the sunset in the evening. Staff were very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Overall, I would come back and stay here in a heartbeat!

The facility is literally on the beach. Their patio, which features upscale beach lounges and chairs, is excellent for watching the surf without touching the sand and lugging beach stuff. We went in early October when everything is quiet and the weather still summer-like.

Great location on the beach in great little coastal town. Pros: location(on beach and near restaurants), nice room with comfortable beds, good coffee/espresso/etc options on site, great spot on back patio with chairs to overlook beach, very clean rooms and property. Cons: parking - limited spots and one day/night we had to pay at metered parking next door and then because we didn’t refill time before 8am received a ticket, only other negative was a minor complaint with the shower head - it’s on top of the ceiling and you can’t adjust it.

Excellent location in Del Mar

Perfect location. Excellent place to sit on the lounges and look at the water. Downfall was parking, it’s a nightmare. Not enough spots for the hotel guests (less parking spaces that rooms.) Across the street they wanted over $100 for parking for 6 hours. There is metered parking next door but it’s like hunger games trying to get a spot.
