Great visit
We had a wonderful visit. Loved the location and the cabin is so cute. Loved our time in the hot tub. The only recommendation i have is to have shampoo/conditioner and body soap. Thanks! Becky

Gorgeous cabin and grounds!
This is probably the nicest cabin we've stayed in. Looks brand new, very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything one would need with a couple small exceptions. Although we didn't catch anything we had fun fishing in the stream. The firepit next to the stream is great and easy to get firewood with a phone call. The hottub was not working for our first couple nights but the owner made sure it was fixed quickly and we got to use it our last night. He also was very apologetic and oftered to make other arrangements which we were very grateful for. Expect to get dirt/sand everywhere. I recommend bringing rubber boots and extra shoes. The shower is slippery so a handrail would be nice but you can bring your own rubber mat if you are unsteady. Also some hangers or hooks to hang coats and jackets would be nice. They provide comfy chairs for sitting around the campfire too. Typical windy mountain roads but not terrible. We all absolutely loved our stay there! Can't wait to come back sometime!

Great place to get away!
The information shared on the site was 100% accurate. The cabin is awesome and the peacefulness of the area was fantastic! Unfortunately we needed to leave a day early because of hurricane Helene, but we will definitely go back again. It was exactly what my husband and our dog, Rusty, was looking to find for a relaxing vacation.

Relaxing, cool get away in beautiful location
Somewhat remote location with stream behind cabin. The drive back and forth to Boone was a bit challenging at first but soon got use to curved roads. Cabin is very quiet with everything we needed, comfortable beds. There was a not e on dishwasher saying it doesn’t work, would be good to get that fixed. Enjoyed outside covered porches.

Wonderful weekend getaway!
Stream side log cabin! It is delightfully appointed with fox and bear decor even down to the dinner ware set. Quiet and serene with two king suites, perfect for 1 or 2 couples. We wanted a weekend getaway and this was just what we needed! You won't be disappointed.

Relax & Recharge
My husband & I were looking to take our dog somewhere remote & out of the heat this summer. We wanted to unplug and have a week of lazy summer days reading & fishing. This place delivered! Everything about the cabin was relaxing. The lightning bugs at dusk were incredible. Amenities were great- washer & dryer was a helpful plus for wet clothes & towels. Used the grill & hot tub almost every night! We will be excited to return!

Absolutely beautiful cabin
Beautiful cabin with fantastic location. Well equipped with essential provisions. The dishwasher did not work which was fine because there is a very large sink with plenty of supplies. Trash removal was only an issue on Sunday because it is closed so I would suggest taking it on Saturday before checking out on Sunday. We loved our stay in this peaceful cabin.

Great vacation spot
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and it was well stocked with everything you need. It’s in a great Location with a trout stream right behind the cabin. There is another cabin nearby but you’re far enough away that you still have plenty of privacy. It was a perfect spot and we would definitely stay there again.

When can we come back?
This was our second trip this year to this particular cabin, and we had just as much fun this time. The cabin is very cozy, clean, and has many amenities. The creek in the backyard is our favorite part. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen makes cooking easy. The location is near the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, and Boone. Our only wish is that the Internet was better, but that’s part of unwinding the mountains, right? Anxiously awaiting to return….

Beautiful Property and Nice Location
We were so happy to find a little place away from it all. The cabin was fully stocked with high-end products to ensure your stay was comfortable. The creek was amazing, the hot tub nice, and the remote location a great way to get away from it all. By far one of the nicest cabins, we’ve ever stayed in, and the kitchen would rival the one you have at home with amenities and supplies. The owner certainly thought of everything from innertubes to fishing poles. I love there’s three sets of French doors you can open so the entire back of the house has fresh air coming inside. There were a few things about it though that I would change. 1. I think it’s a little much to ask someone to pay to have thhe trash hauled away when we already paid for cleaning. I don’t want to put trash in my car, nor do I want to pay when I’ve already paid so much. 2. The couch needs to be replaced. It feels like sitting on a board where the pillows are mishappen and worn down. 3. The beds are too firm. While some people might like a firm mattress, having at least one that’s a little more comfortable would be advisable for those of us with back issues. 4. We didn’t bring our pets this trip, but there were all kinds of little dog hairs on the pillowcases and pillow shams. I am not sure if the sheets on our bed were even washed or the comforter. We got an extra blanket out of the dresser to use, and it smelled like a wet dog. Overall, it's a wonderful cabin and just needs a few cleaning tweaks!
