The actual room was very clean and everything was new and in working order. The property itself is ill maintained and odd. The elevators were smelly and old, the lobby and doors into the building are also in bad repair. There seems to be construction going on, but there’s a lot to improve. In the actual room- there are wide gaps all around the door leading out to the hallway- you can see very clearly under them and on both sides. There were two locks that we kept engaged at all times when in the room. The curtains in the windows leave large gaps and it’s impossible to close them all the way. (The outside of the window appears to have mirror tint, but with two teenage girls, we didn’t take any chances changing in the actual room. The bathroom was large and spacious and recently updated, but there’s no shelving or anything to put your toiletries on. We had to place ours on the shower floor. Also, this is located on the beach and there is not one place in the entire unit to hang anything that may be wet. The shower curtain doesn’t keep water off the floor between the toilet and the shower, so the floor is soaked the entire time. This unit sleeps 4 but probably not comfortably. For the price, I could have easily stayed in a hotel where I wouldn’t have to strip my own bed, worry about safety and security and take out my own trash. We didn’t feel safe here and wouldn’t stay again.
