Puzzle Place: A Perfect Home Base While Building Our Dream Home!
Whether you're looking to stay one night near Dandridge, or explore the area for over a month, Puzzle Place is the spot for you! Our extended stay while our dream home was being built nearby couldn't have been a more perfect fit! This charming apartment in a converted 1940s barn offered a unique and comfortable haven: * Stunning Views: The mountain vistas were breathtaking and the lake views added an extra touch of magic.
 * Peace and Tranquility: The 12 acres of property provided a sense of peace and quiet. The scenic walking trail was a fantastic way to unwind and connect with nature.
 * Pet-Friendly Paradise: Our pets were welcomed with open arms! * Home Away from Home: The bi-level apartment was comfortable and inviting and had everything we needed, including a washer & dryer and well-equipped kitchen. The desk and comfortable chair made for a smooth teleworking experience during the day as well.
 * Convenient Location: Conveniently close to public boat ramps and just a short drive from the excitement of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. Bonus Points: * We loved learning about the history of the barn and its conversion into a unique living space. * Gabe and Kathy are truly wonderful hosts and just fantastic people!  We are forever grateful for their hospitality! Puzzle Place exceeded our expectations in every way! We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and relaxing stay in the Great Smoky Mountains!

Hidden gem!
Absolutely perfect stay with lots of local towns within a short drive. Asheville North Carolina just 1.5 hours, Pidgeon Forge short trip. Absolutely beautiful views outside and inside the apartment. The workmanship and authenticity is something to see. Great communication with host. Felt right at home. The town of Dandridge is within 10 minutes or so away along with Douglas Lake views. The walking path around the farm is so nicely done and relaxing. Highly recommended to families or a weekend getaway for couples. Definitely will be back. It is. Perfect location for relaxation or a central place to many things to do locally.

Thanksgiving Weekend Getaway
We had a great weekend. The apartment was awesome, the weather was great and the location was perfect. The property is conveniently located to all of the areas many attractions. The apartment is (very cleverly) built in a re-purposed/re-furbished old barn. Very nicely done and very comfortable. Looking around we found many interesting and clever touches to the fit and finish. it actually was nicer than the pictures showed. The property also has a great walking trail that has some awesome views. we were able to meet the Hosts briefly and they were SO nice and helpful. We will surely be staying here again.

The place is adorable and roomy
Great Value and it’s an adorable place inside and out! The inside looks like a log cabin. It’s very roomy and private but is still close enough to town. It had everything we needed and we loved our stay.

Nice place to stay
Good place to stay. Decorated nice. Pretty view and nice landscaping. Clean. Bathroom could use a curtain for privacy since the mirror is positioned where people in hallway can see you changing. Curtains for bedrooms for complete privacy (especially at night when lights are on). King bed in one room, double in another room. We went with me and my wife and our 16yo daughter and 13yo son so she took the room and our son slept on the couch. Would be nice if couch had pulled out into bed. A little bit bigger TV in living room would have been nice bc you couldn't see it well from both couches. Kitchen was nice and had crockpot and toaster oven. We didn't use kitchen but it seems to have quite a bit of utensils and pans, etc. Good size 4 person farmhouse style table (no extra chairs). Could have used extra blankets in closets maybe. And we only had 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 wash rag (plus 1 extra) so for the 3 nights we were there an extra set or 2 would have been nice or an option to have them washed since there is no washer or dryer available. We made do with the hand towels. Overall, with these few simple fixes it was a great place to stay! Very quiet and peaceful. You can see the water across the road. Very clean and comfortable.
