Not sure if it was related to the renovation that we saw outside but our room had a floor fan, and our air conditioning unit wasn’t working. We didn’t fuss since we only stayed one night but it was inconvenient.

Very convenient location to shops, restaurants. Clean room & facilities. Free breakfast was decent..scramble eggs & sausage patties & usual Continental items. Only negative was the in room coffee maker had the wrong size coffee pod basket…the basket wouldnt fit the coffee maker; had to go to lobby to get already brewed coffee (& correct size basket for nxt day). As with most motel/hotels, would have preferred better water pressure for the shower..takes too long to rinse with the piddly low volume shower heads, and the water saving commode was a joke..required dozens of flushes to clear the bowl. The lighting on the large mirror in the bathroom was great..often motel/hotel bathroom mirror lighting is minimal & inadequate for 50 yr old eyes. Overall, a nice 3-4 star motel.

La Quinta, Arlington South
It seems to be a fairly new hotel. It is located next door to an In-N-Out Burger restaurant and very close to one of the expressways, I believe I-20. It is rather close (though not walkable) to AT&T Stadium (Cowboys) and Globe Life Field (Rangers). Take note that there is another La Quinta in the north part of Arlington.

Upon check in just prior to 3pm i was told it was ok to go to the room. It had yet to be cleaned. I told the front desk that housekeeping hadnt been there and id be back at 3pm. When i arrived i was told it was clean and it still wasnt. I had to be moved to a different room. The elevator was blocked open on upper floors by housekeeping, i assume, as i waited for 5 minutes for it to arrive to the first floor. This hotel is not in great shape and housekeeping seems to go at their own pace. Extremely limited breakfast options as well.
