We had an overnight layover due to American Airlines changing the itinerary without notice. We arrived at Holiday Inn and were greeted by the front desk clerk, named “Dulce” that had a sour look on her face from the minute we arrived and very rude as if we were bothering her. We inquired into the shuttle in the morning. She stated the earliest shuttle was at 5:30 am. We agreed. In the morning, we were early for the 5:30 shuttle, again with a bad attitude, she was sitting in the lobby eating Cheetos, then walked behind the desk for checkout. she stated the shuttle had already left. It was only 5:22 am. he stated that the shuttle leaves at 5:20 am!!! I reminded her that she told us it did not come until 5:30 am. last night! Without any concern, she said the next shuttle comes at 6:00 am. We waited but were rushing to get to our gate. The shuttle driver was very nice! Also, although the beds were very comfortable and had a restful evening, Holiday Inn needs to hire better quality employees. I will still stay at other Holiday Inn hotels.
