On the southern edge of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, close to the Michigan-Wisconsin border, along The Menominee River, lies the 5th Season vacation home, a nature lover's gem with modern convenience. Surrounded by trees which hold your privacy dear, the tall ceilings and large windows overlooking the river are sure to capture your attention. The wrap-around deck outside the main floor bedrooms provides ample space to catch that needed breath of fresh air.

Within the over 3000 square feet of the 5th Season vacation home, there are two (2) separate living spaces (main and lower levels) which allow you to kick back or have fun, read, watch TV, or simply spend time together. The two (2) fireplaces (gas and electric) make this home unique, and also ease in capturing the laid-back ambiance the Upper Peninsula readily offers. Your mind will be sure to wander, as with each glance outside the window; it's easy to get swept away in the meandering Menominee River.

Never miss a beat in the open kitchen, as the chef of your group is still a part of the conversations and sharing of stories that the day has brought upon. Belly up to the island as you have a drink, enjoy a cup of coffee or find yourself in the role of sous chef as you assist in the meal prep. The living room seating is comfortable and ideal for your group. The fun explodes in the basement with the foosball and air hockey tables.

As the sun sets and the moon rises, choose one of four (4) bedrooms, from the king (with an en suite bathroom) to the two (2) queen bedrooms or the lower level room with three (3) twin beds (ideal for the teens in your group). With a master and one (1) queen bedroom on the main level, it adds to the ease of your older family members.
The property also has a separate log cabin onsite, directly on the river, as a private place to go for quiet glass of wine while watching the sunset on the river, and it has an actual firepit nearby for your smores.

Bring your boat, ATV or snowmobile (there is room to park your trailers) to thoroughly enjoy during your stay! Marinette County, WI, located just across the river from the house, has over 600 miles of ATV/Snowmobile groomed trails, and is accessible from the property.

Beautiful home by the river
The last time we stayed here with some friends in the winter and enjoyed this wonderful home so we decided to come back in the summer. We used this as our respite from riding the ATV trails. It was great to unload our ATVs here and just ride from the house. We wish that we had more time to enjoy all the amenities of the outdoors around the home but sadly we didn't have time. We did explore the outside and it was beautiful. We even had bought wood to have a campfire but didn't use it. There was plenty of wood at the house to use if weren't so exhausted when we got back from riding. The house made it super simple for us to just relax. Thanks!!!

Family get together
We had a great stay for a family holiday get together. Lots of room for adult childen, parents and grandma - everyone was able to be together, but also have their own space. Lots of extras like the fireplaces, big deck, and well stocked kitchen - even holiday decorations! The location is beautiful and remote (wifi calling only) which worked well for our group of adults looking to spend family time. We noticed a maintenance issue (which did not affect our stay) and we got a quick response from the caretaker.

Amazing
My wife, two adult kids and I stayed here in August on a long weekend trip. The property was not easy to find in on Google Maps, which does not recognize the street address. But we obtained directions from our host and had no problem finding the house. Check in was easy, though the key lock box gave us a little trouble at first (it was a little difficult to figure out how to get it to open after the code was correctly entered). The house itself, the property, and the location all were outstanding. The house was spacious, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property is beautiful. It is on a large and wooded lot that is right on the river. You walk down a wooded path from the house to a private dock. We brought two kayaks and also used the two kayaks that came with the property so the four of us could kayak together. The river did not have a strong current, so paddling upstream was easy. We enjoyed breakfasts on the upstairs deck, overlooking the river. The planter on the deck attracted hummingbirds, which dined on the flowers just a few feet away. My son, daughter, wife and I all were thrilled with this property.

Short review
Thank you for sharing your lovely home and property with us. We had a very nice time. Jim and I grew up in that area and we like to find a place to gather with our adult children and grandchildren in the summer. We enjoyed fishing the Menominee river once again and watching the grandchildren enjoying their kayaks. In the evenings we played games and all while enjoying your beautiful natural setting. Though we thought you should know there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arived. I am sure just an oversight and we dealt with it. Thank you for our stay!

Was great, Minor improvements would be nightl lights in bedrooms and hall
Was perfect for our trip, grill smelled of gas and afraid to use except outside, very dark at night w/o some nightlights, master bedroom shower hard for brother to get in and out of and doors were difficult to maneuver, coffee pods a little short in number. I know these things are pidilly but you asked. Beautiful view and property overall. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to stay for next year’s hunt. Bottom line excellent.

Beautiful and peaceful
The home is very spacious for our family and nicely furnished, in a lovely location. Beds were comfy, and extra towels and blankets were welcome. We loved the deck and the fire pit. The location is remote! We needed printed directions because we had no "bars" for GPS. Come prepared with groceries and supplies because there isn't a quick place to run and pick up things. WiFi is slow if more than a couple people are using it. But, why would you? Overall, a good spot for peace and quiet and a lovely homey place to stay.
