The room was freezing cold with no heating. Lots of blankets so you eventually got warm in the bed. Shower water never got warm. Standard Peruvian breakfast but smaller, consisting of bread, 1 scrambled egg and a small juice. Good location for walking to the main square

Positive: location, service/staff (f. ex. wakes up early to provide you with tea in case you do a day trip), laundry service, usual breakfast (coffee, tea, bread, jam, eggs). Things to improve: the private bathroom offered no privacy, had no ventilation, sometimes no hot/only hot water

It is a very old residential building where the hostel is also. You can hear every noise possible and everything is very old. You get what you pay for.

The hostel staff is terrific. They take care of you and are super attentive to your needs. The accomodation is basic, but very clean. I highly recommend this place for the budgwt traveler.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its a good place if you are in a budget. Walking distance to the Plaza De Armas. Breakfast is simple and good. I would stay here sgain.

Great hostel about 3 blocks away from the Square
This hostel provided a pleasant stay for my wife and I. The staff was extremely friendly (Estella), and the breakfast was simple yet good. The room was modest, nothing over the top. I would recommend this, for a feasible option while staying in Cusco, Peru

Great hostal and location
Overall our stay at this hostal was great. It was very conveniently located close to the historic center of Cusco, with so many places to be able to walk to see. Staff at the hostal were all very friendly. They ordered taxi's for us as needed and let us leave our luggage there for storage.

Great location and friendly staff!
Owner was really sweet and able to help me with any plans I needed to make to see Macchu Picchu. Other staff didn't speak very well English but with body language and Google translate I had no issues! The walls are paper thin but I was so tired from my long day at MP I didn't hear a thing. Would stay here again as location is prime! They let me check into my room early as well when I had taken an overnight bus from Puna.

Rooms all open to noisy interior courtyard
The rooms were small and all opened off an indoor central courtyard, which meant that we could hear everyone coming and going all night long (including everyone being picked up for their trek on the Inca Trail in the very early hours). The windows opened only to the interior courtyard, not to the outside. On the plus side, the location was very convenient to the best sites of Cusco and the bed was comfortable and the room clean.

I received a warm welcome the moment I walked through the door. Nothing was too much trouble as the lady at reception sorted out several small travel enquiries for me. My room was safe, warm and comfortable.

Great base for Cusco
Basic, clean, quiet hostel in central location. Good wifi , plenty of hot water , ensuite facilities. Staff friendly especially Estella who speaks excellent English & is very helpful. Breakfast was bread & scrambled egg with fruit juice & hot drinks. Perhaps a little variety would be better. Stayed 6 nights with my teenage daughters. All in all good value for money.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was next to the kitchen, a bit old, had too sky lights which had us up early. We had a leaky toilet that caused a smell in room once in a while. The lady kept cleaning up the bathroom, gave us rags, but i don't know why our room wasn't changed. The breakfast was good. The location is walkable to everything. The street will have you scared if you're checking in late but it is a safe area and great neighborhood. We had no problems besides the room issue.

budget hotel
Nice simple budget hotel. They charge you extra if you use a credit card. Breakfast was good. The staff was very nice. The location is close to everything, but it is down an alley/side street and which is hard to find. The street, like many in Cuzco has a strong smell which might put some people off. My room was cleaned every day. The bed as a little lumpy and the skylight made the room very bright at day break. Enjoyed the stay over all.

The hotel staffs were very helpful. Daily cooked breakfast for guests with a beautifil view of the mountain. Its a very good location and 5 mins walk to the main plaza. Theres no sound proof of the room and it was quite loud when guests checking in at 4am in the morning. But if theres no one talking after 11pm, then it will be quiet. Overall it was a lovely stay and I am glad to stay at this hostal.

We stayed at the hostel for 2 nights. They gave us a room in front of the reception so it was noisy. The toilet was leaking water and the toilet door could not be closed. Fortunately they repaired the door and the toilet. Breakfast really basic. Don't give clothes to the laundry (hostel delivers to a extern laundry). They came back wet and the measured weight was absolutely excessive! (just check the weight before accepting it). Bonus point: they let us use the room a few hours after check out.
