Nice clean well maintained hotel, lovely fresh breakfast. We arrived early but they let us check in no problem. Comfy bed, nice and quiet, good tea/coffee biscuits in room on arrival. Plenty of space in car park and friendly helpful staff. Many thanks.

Nice pub to stay at with excellent food
A convenient location for my needs on the edge of a really lovely village. The room was clean and a good size with everything expected including lots of coffee supplies which is always nice to have. The pub was lovely and friendly and had a nice atmosphere. The food was excellent. The evening food menu is reasonably priced and has a good range to choose from. Overall it was excellent quality. Breakfast was also really good with a broad range of options and served quickly with great service. Excellent value for money and a nice place so will be booking in to stay again in the future.

Lovely friendly staff
Overnight stay en route to Manchester. I was looking for a hotel not far off the M6 that would break up my journey. It was a little further than I wanted but it was a lovely drive. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were really lovely and friendly and breakfast was thrown in too. Nothing fancy but enough to get you through the morning. Very good. Thank you very much.

Loved our stay here. Very friendly staff and was a really lovely comfortable atmosphere. Food was amazing, the pie melted in my mouth and the inclusive breakfast was also brilliant. I stayed as a stop over en route elsewhere. It was perfect for what I needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Good Breakfast options. Friendly staff. I arrived late so didn't use the bar but it seemed to be a lovely friendly local pub.

Nothing fancy but the room was quiet and the beds were comfy. The air freshener in the room was WAY too strong, but we were able to air the room out after unplugging it and stashing it inside a cabinet.

When I initially arrived, there was nobody about to check me in so I ended up wandering around for a while. My room was very good, spacious, clean and with everything required present. The bar area was "interesting" with a pair of very young child twins freely roaming both around and behind the bar area. A free car park was available but some of the other areas around the property were rather untidy with a rusting tractor and trailer stationed outside the accommodation door entrance/exit. The food served was good.

Great flying visit
Flying visit and an early start so was unable to take advantage of the breakfast but staff were welcoming, a nice pint of Guinness and some pork scratching in the bar before bed was great. Room was good, only suggestion would be some usb charging ports on the plug sockets.. I forgot my charger but had these been available it would have been possible to charge using the car usb cable! I’d definitely use this hotel again if up this way.

Traditional pub, with room 5 being very clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Great value though, in a quiet and easy location. Pat the chef and barman was extremely helpful and it’s a place that I’d go back to again. Great pint of Directors!

The Crewe Arms is in a secluded location, very quiet rooms at the rear and not overlooked. Car parking is sufficient but a bit unkempt.
