The house is beautiful and very clean and well maintained, the owners have thought of everything!
Pros:
-Well stocked kitchen and pantry supplies, snacks and waters, grill, linens, toiletries, TVs, games, books, etc.
-Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful.
-Spacious
-Easy checkin/out, clear directions for things in the house
- Responsive owner
- Lots of tables, great for board game nights!
Cons:
(None of the cons are things the owner can change, more an FYI so you can plan appropriately.)
-Very off grid, no restaurants in reasonable distance and only one dollar general no grocery stores nearby. Shop before you go to the house and stock up well for all meals.
-Nice boat dock but miles to nearest marina with public access, come prepared with multiple adults to set aside an hour for the process of driving to a launch, launch and driving back while the other drives the boat back and navigates to the dock then repeat the process to pull out.
- Dock stairs and rails are steep and much older wood, over 150 steps down, some of our family members could not safely make the trip down to the water, especially after dark as there is minimal lighting.
Would definitely recommend this house just plan accordingly, housed a large family ranging from infants to mid 60s and never felt cramped.
