Perfect insight into Greek life.
From the initial enquiry, through the build up, arrival, stay and departure, Jane makes everything so easy and a real pleasure. Jane and Malcolm strike the perfect balance between provision of the support and guidance that you need as a new visitor to the area; and the freedom and space you desire to enjoy the wonderful villa, gardens and surroundings. The villa oozes Corfiot charm, with everything you need for a comfortable break. The AC in both lounge and bedroom were a god send at times, as were the shutters, blinds and fly screens. The gardens are wonderful, aromatic and full of wildlife. With so many areas to choose from, we preferred to relax on the top terrace with a choice of sun or shade, wonderful views over the sea and no mosquitoes. :-) Paleokastritsa is a lovely village with so much to offer. We were surprised just how many tavernas and swimming spots there were to choose from. Jane's recommendations were spot on throughout the fortnight we were staying. Our highlights were Nikos, Spiros & Gran Aladino. If you have a car, or fancy a walk up the donkey path towards Lakones, Il Pozzo has amazing food, backed up by stunning views down to Paleokastritsa and the sea. Jane delivered everything that she promised Villa Stephanie would offer and a whole lot more. We have returned to the UK so relaxed and wouldn't hesitate to visit Jane again if we decide we need to unwind.

Jane was very helpful even before we arrived. Great directions and then a very warm welcome. The house is perfect, clean, quiet and perfectly situated. . The bed was amazing - so comfortable. It was lovely to have so many patios to choose from and a beautiful garden to enjoy. Of course I must also mention the sun patio with the most incredible view over the town and sea. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

The hosts with the most
Incredible place to stay in Corfu. The cottage itself was well appointed and spacious, and a shared deck with a beautiful view of Corfu. But the best part of the stay are the hosts, who go out of their way to welcome you; they are very outgoing and just love to meet travelers, and are just the sweetest (and most interesting) people. When I think of our stay in Corfu, we did many things on the island that were great, but I always think of the hosts as a highlight of the trip. And her kumquat marmalade was delectable!

Fantastic stay
We stayed for 4 nights recently with our family including 2 boys aged 6 and 11. We met Jane on the first night who gave us the rundown on the property and the location, we had a lovely chat out on the balcony with beautiful views out over the sea. The property had everything we needed and some lovely homely touches - Jane was always on hand to advise of restaurants and her recommendations were spot on. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful villa, amazing views
Villa Stephanie is a real home from home - so comfortable and well-kitted out with everything you need to self-cater on holiday - full-size fridge freezer, well-equipped kitchen and efficient washing machine - also super comfortable, massive bed. But it’s the outside space that makes Villa Stephanie truly amazing. There’s a choice of two patio areas and gorgeous garden with table and chairs in the shade of olive trees surrounding the villa, plus a spacious veranda with a view over the bay. Stepping up here after a day of walking in the hills never failed to take our breath away! Jane is a wonderful host, always on hand (both before and during our stay) with advice and information, but never intrusive. We’ve rented several Greek villas in the past and Villa Stephanie has been the most wonderful by miles! Thanks so much Jane. We’ve only been back for a day and we are already trying to plan when we can come back!

Fabulous place and host!
I stayed at Villa Nova for a week. The villa was beautiful and Jane was such a brilliant host (Helping her out with phone charger, brolly and suggestions on restaurants/ beaches etc). The location is perfect - a short walk to the beaches and lots of lovely tavernas and Grocery shops. The villa was spotless, soft towels, fully equipped kitchen (plus a bottle of wine, bread, milk, fruit, honey and hot drinks left for me on arrival;)) The garden and terraces are beautiful and perfect for relaxing over breakfast and in th3 evenings. I would stay again without a doubt and 100% recommend the villa. Thank you to Jane;)

Set amongst the beautiful hills and minutes from countless coves and beaches
Janes villa is set on the lower hills at Paleokastritsa. It has pretty gardens and various terraces, one of which has the most beautiful views over the marina, sea and various coves and rolling coastline. The villa itself is simple yet comfortable, and Jane had, on our arrival supplied us with fresh bread, cold water, juice, milk coffee etc. Jane herself has known Paleokastritsa getting on for 50 years, so can give plenty of information and advice, if wanted, on where to visit and how to spend your time. She is a person full of character and stories, well travelled, and clearly enjoys having guests, without beginning invasive. Whilst there, I felt home from home. We enjoyed the tavernas and restaurants, a local bus trip into Corfu Town - which I loved, and boat trips to the caves and Limni beach. The atmosphere is laid back and simple. The people friendly and easy going. It isn't 5 star glamour, but you do have a sense of being part of it, not just a tourist! I like that! Please note my comments are made during Covid

Wonderful stay on Corfu
A great location for our 2 night stay on Corfu. We did not rent a car so being able to walk to interesting destinations was important. Jane was wonderfully helpful in giving us advice on where to walk, where to eat, etc. The town itself was perfect for our wind-down from a hiking trip in the Zagori and Meteora region of Greece. The accommodations were nice and the elevated patio (seen in the photo on VRBO) is lovely. Jane is a very interesting person and we greatly enjoyed our conversations with her. Thank you Jane! Wish we could've stayed longer
Villa Stephanie was perfect for us. Jane and her husband Malcolm were charming; they made sure we had everything we needed plus suggestions for day trips, hikes and restaurants. The kitchen was fully functional; the bed was a lovely king size and there was a comfortable sitting area to relax in. But best of all was the amazing view down to the ocean from the top deck.

Amazing location, clean and comfortable villa and excellent hospitality.
The villa is clean and very homely. It has a well equipped kitchen and positioned in a nice peaceful location up on the mountains. The patio has an excellent view to the sea. It’s easy to get to the beaches with a short walk. Jane was a great host, she gave us many tips about places to visit and was readily available if we needed anything. We would definitely come stay again.

We loved this place. Fantastic views in a great location overlooking the bay. Brilliant villa with everything you need, fully equipped kitchen so perfect for the family. It also has the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. I want that bed!!! Jane is a fantastic host. There was nothing she didn’t help with or advise us on. If you want to go to Corfu make this the place you stay at. You will not be disappointed. We hope to go back. Thanks again Jane. Missing it everyday day!!

Great villa with a world class host!
Jane is the best host I have ever had! She was very welcoming and helped us in every aspect during our trip. She was always there for us whenever we needed help and went the extra mile for anything we asked! She helped us find great spots to eat and where to go around Paleocastritsa. The villa itself is amazing! It has all the amenities you could possibly need. We was a group of friends and slept very comfortably there. The view on the upper terrance is magnificent. You have a panoramic view of the sea, which takes your breath away! You can literally sit there for hours taking it all in! The location of the villa is ideal if you want to stay in Paleocastritsa. The main beach is a short walk from the villa as well as many restaurants. The bus stop is also a 2 minute walk which connects you to Corfu Town, which was ideal for us as we had to catch a coach to Athens from there. If you are planning in having a great villa surrounded by breathtaking views, I highly recommend Villa Stephanie!

Beautiful villa and garden, great location, warm and accommodating host.
Villa Stephanie is a great spot for walking to Paleokastritsa, Lakones, and the wider area. The villa is attractive, clean, and cosy and has everything you need with barbecue, terrace, and outside dining spaces. The flowers and herbs and greens which Jane kindly picked for us provide a beautiful setting. Jane was a generous but unobtrusive host who gave us lots of local info, made sure we had everything we wanted, and we enjoyed our fun and interesting chats. We wholeheartedly recommend :)

Villa Stephanie is a perfect place to stay for your Corfu Vacation
What a stunning location! The villa is very comfortable, and a just a short walk down to the many tavernas and beaches in Paleocastritsa. The view from the upper terrace is breathtaking, and a comfortable spot to catch some sun and read. There is also a lovely garden under the shade of the olive trees. Jane is super helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for her and she knows everything about the area. She’s a lovely lady with lots of stories to tell, but her main concern is the comfort of her guests. We love to walk, and walked miles along the donkey paths and roads between the villages. The views are always superb, with coffee shops and bars dotted along the way if in need of refreshment. We didn’t even bother renting a car, and took the bus to Corfu Town (a bargain at €2.5). The weather was perfect, even though we visited mid October when it can rain. We can’t recommend Jane and her Villa Stephanie highly enough, and hope to return very soon.

Mamma mia type holiday :)
We had a very good holiday in Jane's property. She is a very welcoming person. The property is a very pretty house located in a typical Mediterranean garden full of herbs. Jane lives at the top of the garden in another house. This can be helpful for people who are more scared or travel alone or want to know that there is a friendly spirit nearby. Jane is very resourceful in helping to find ideas how to spend time. She has spent many years in Korfu and knows everything about it. The place is within a short walk to a few very interesting beaches (though you have to go down about 100 stairs if you need a shortcut). Paleokastrista is a great place for people with children as the beaches are made of sand and small gravel but at the same time you can see rocks on the side. We swam for days without swimming shoes and had no problem with sea urchins. Jane is an amazing person, She reminds me of characters in Mamma Mia musical, she is full of life and smile, so if you love this movie you are at home :)

Ticks all the boxes for a great holiday!
Villa Nola is a chalet style villa on the hillside above Paleokastritsa facing in a south / south-easterly direction, which means you get full-on sunshine throughout the day and (very welcome) evening shade as the sun sets. To the south the views over the bays are spectacular; to the north and east you have the equally spectacular mountains. The villa was very clean and tidy and everything worked. The side veranda is great for eating out with a lovely cooling breeze coming down from the mountains in the evenings and coming up from the sea in the mornings. The location is very convenient for the swimming pool at the Odysseus Hotel (which has a poolside snack bar), for accessing Paleo itself which is spread out along the main road below Nola, and for accessing a variety of eating establishments. Our favourites were the Dolphin and the Belvedere - a mere 3 minute walk from Nola. We rented a car from the airport at Corfu Town so also visited other towns around the island, however you don't really need to as everything is within easy walking distance, including the village of Lakones high on the hill above Villa Nola. You've got to visit Dolce, a cafe-bar with the best views ever and very good ice cream too. Be prepared for a bit of exercise. The villa owners, Jane and Malcolm, were in discreet attendance throughout our stay and were very welcoming. They were always happy to help and were flexible over our departure time for a late flight home (thank you Jane and Malcolm!). In summary, if you have concerns about everything 'fitting together' with Villa Nola, then don't! I am a fussy customer when it comes to holidays and Villa Nola works remarkably well. The villa, the location, parking, access to the pool, supermarkets, restaurants .... A great holiday package with a sense of individuality!

Lovely homely villa with a stunning view in probably the prettiest place in Corfu
A lovely homely villa in In a great location in Paleokastrista. The villa has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and overlooks a beautiful bay which you can enjoy at your leisure from the villas large patio. There is lots of sitting and lounging room outside and it is very peaceful. A short walk will take you to some great beaches, bars and restaurants. Although only a short walk, it is on a small hill and those who are not physically able may find this a challenge. Jane and Malcolm the villa owners were lovely respectful people, they were very welcoming and ready available if need be, to advise on places to go, swim, eat and were a fountain of knowledge about the local and wider area. We've had a wonderful time staying at the villa and can thoroughly recommend staying here to anybody considering a holiday in Paleokastrista

Paleo is beautiful with plenty of restaurants and easy to get to from Corfu town. The view and terrace from the villa are great and the villa is well equiped with clean and comfortable beds.
