Nice rustic cabins in the town of Creel. Beautiful place with a big fire pit to warm up outside. Nice decorations and breakfast included for guests. Food is good and transportation is included to get to the train station.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
I’ve stayed here a handful of times over my years exploring Copper Canyon. The cabins are authentic, quaint, generally fairly clean, with hot water and good linens. They have mini-split systems for heating and cooling, however there is little to no insulation as there are spaces within the wall planks where air comes through, especially when it’s cold. The bathrooms are not heated, so it gets pretty cold in the winter. The breakfasts are good but relatively expensive. (Try Tio Molcas in town instead.) I’ll stay here again. It’s a fun experience, especially with a family because it is away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street, although it is a very short drive or nice walk (during the day) to shops and restaurants.

staff not friendly specifically the waitress. I beds are not comfortable at all is like sleeping in a tock
This place used to be ok. The water sometimes works, the heaters dont heat the cabins sufficiently. The staff is lazy and the manager is a grumpy old man that does nothing.
This place needs an overhaul and change of staff
the cabins are cute but the heater wasn't working and it was in the 30's during our stay. location is half a mile from the town. One evening we asked for a drive into town, the driver had been drinking and the van broke down, their vehicles are in need of repairs, it was about 6 p.m. and we couldn't get service in the restaurant and or the bar, poor management,
The staff was great and took care of us well. We were able to take advantage of a tour because they took extra effort to find one that fit our tight schedule. Also, they moved us to a different cabin that was smaller, but on the opposite side of the complex from a large school group. (Was really happy about this!) The cabin was in good shape overall, but a few small maintenance touches would help. Regardless, this did not take away from our stay. On top of that, the food at the on-site restaurant was good. Overall, a great trip and a place I would recommend to anyone!
This hotel has a central building with lounge, dining area and a shop, another building with laundry facilities and about 20 detached wooden cabins for guests, nicely spaced out with grass between and play areas. It was built with motorised tourists in mind and has parking near each cabin. Also a serviced site for motor homes which doubles as a camping area. Nowadays most of the users come by train or bus not car. The cabins were basic but pleasant with verandah area and table and some chairs inside as well as (at least) two double beds each - as usual, sharing the same space so no privacy if you are two couples sharing. Either gas or electric space heating which was still welcome in late March and worked well. Our cabin had a fridge, our friends cabin did not. Both had coffee percolators. We only had breakfast at the Hotel which all three days had good choice, friendly service and was reasonably priced. The hotel is in a quiet location 20 minutes walk from the centre of Creel which at Easter was nice as Creel centre was a polluted traffic jam. At less busy times we were told the centre is much less jammed. Coming by train check the hotel is going to pick you up or take a taxi! The staff are friendly but speak little English.
Very comfortable beds - especially after long days out. having your own heater is also useful and there's plenty of hot water for showers. The people at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from town or you can go in the minibus from the hotel. It's great having a restaurant/bar at the hotel, especially in the mornings.
