After flying into Copenhagen, we arrived late at the hotel around 11pm and discovered the hotel had cancelled our reservation. We reserved a family room using Expedia with all of us in one room. Unfortunately, the hotel’s reservation system showed our room was cancelled but on Expedia we still had the room reservation. It took a while before we were finally checked in but the hotel room only had separate rooms and no longer had the family rooms available. Throughout our stay, our rooms keys stopped working at times and we had to visit the front desk several times to clarify our situation. During check out, we were charged additional fee for “NO SHOW”? Apparently, the hotel assumed my reservation was a no show and they even determined we stayed in a room that was not even registered. This is definitely a debacle to the start of our journey here in Copenhagen.
