We were very pleased with the cabin in Cooke City. It was close to downtown so we could walk to shop and eat. Full kitchen was stocked well. Plenty of towels, pillows, and linens. Great 3-night stay.

Nice cabin in good location
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The king-size bed was very comfortable. We didn’t spend much time there, because we were in Yellowstone from dawn till dark. We like the Cooke City location because of its proximity to the Beartooth Highway and the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. Thanks for a great place to stay. Highway and

Great cabin for a visit to Yellowstone! The place was very clean and convenient. You can walk to the restaurants in town. The listing is accurate. I would recommend removing the fire extinguisher from behind the kitchen curtain and put it on the wall were it is visible in case it is needed.

Nice place to stay outside Yellowstone
We're happy we chose this spot. Great access to Yellowstone compared to some much busier park entrances. Comfortable amount of space inside, especially considering we spent most of our waking hours in Yellowstone. The unit below us was also rented -- never heard a peep from those guests (no noise from their TV, talking, etc). Easy keypad code entry, really simple self check-in. Little things that weren't deal-breakers but others might like to know: -Noticeable smell when we walked in. Maybe it's a common cabin thing that some wouldn't think anything of, but my daughter immediately broke out the Febreeze. Didn't notice as much by time we left. -My kids took one look at the futon and weren't interested in sharing. Fortunately the king bed is the bedroom is huge and 3 of us slept soundly together in bed with 1 on the futon, no problem. -Propane grill has probably been abused by prior guests. Knobs didn't fully align with off/on/heating levels, so it took some guesswork to use properly.

The hosts were nice and location was very good. However we had issues with the coffee machine and the toilet. Hosts were not in town and did not have proper repair logistics in place. Luckily the issue with the toilet happened close to the end of our stay, but there were several aspects that need attention, for instance I don’t mind using a plunger, but the one provided was torn.

Great stay !
Great property in one of the most remote places ever ! Words can’t describe Cooke City if you’ve never been there. It’s a neat place, and definitely worth a visit. Travis & Lindsey are great hosts, and the cabin is well set up, and comfortable. Thanks for everything !

This is a great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. We were there for 2 nights. Very clean, quiet, comfortable and all went well. The drive to the park entrance was short. Highly recommended. Make sure you bring groceries and if you drink wine bring it with you. Not much wine or groceries available in the store and prices are veryy $$$ for what they have
