Hermoso lugar. Algunas habitaciones les deben dar mantenimiento de plomería para no gastar agua. Sugiero que se vuelva a abrir la sección de siglo XXI todo el tiempo y dar opción de quedarse ahí. La experiencia, en comparación al siglo XIX es muy distinta.

such an incredible and beautiful place. It has everything. Horse, tennis, bicyling, golf, ping pong, and incredible covered swimming pool, jacuzzi, everything, So nicely done in an old renewed Hacienda. Incredible place. Nothing to do outside the Hacienda though.

Beautiful Stay
Beautiful place to stay! Pool is solar so it was warm. Only bad experience was when we asked for our vehicle there were two young workers driving it super fast and laughing when they approached us. They certainly were nervous that we caught then driving this way.

The property and history is beautiful. The staff is courteous and the rooms clean. It is located pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It is gated and probably about 200 acres. I do not like feeling nickel and dimes with add on fees once on a property. There is a resort fee and even though there are no other options for parking other than on the large property, they charged a parking fee. I’d rather they just increased the price of the room accordingly.

The guys in the reception are the most unprofesional that I ever know in a hotel, nobody of the staff really want to help!! Food is so bad for the price. the place is nice BUT NEVER STAY THERE EVEN A NIGHT!!!

Stayed here for a wedding. In a very small town not very close to many things. Luckily, there are many amenities and activities available on the resort. The resort has some nice rooms, some are older and quaint but there are some rooms that are more updated. One of our favorite features was the garden style jacuzzi tub. The beds are very comfortable and the grounds of the resort are very nice. Did not have time for the golf course. Overall a great experience!

This Hacienda is beautiful, beautiful gardens, lots of trees, well mantained. There are many activities to choose from which is nice. Speaking about the staff I must say that many of them still need to improve on customer service. Be more friendly, warm, kind, have better manners. Respond like they care and not to look at you like if the issue you are trying to explain is not their bussiness. One more recommendation... cleanliness on the bathroom tiles and ceiling shuold improve. Some tiles were moldy as well as the edges of the ceiling over the tub.

The hotel is amazing! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms spacious and contemporary in the new building. The hotel is geared for business conventions and weddings. As a lone group our service could have been better, the rooms did not have towels and basic provisions. By the time we realized, we could get the service we needed. We did find the linen closet and get what we needed. If help had been available, the staff would have been more than accommodating. I would still highly recommend the hotel!

The main essence of the original hacienda is the setting for a comfortable resort. Lovely gardens and a great pool--warm and indoors in November.

Oasis in the middle of rural Mexico
On reading a TripAdvisor review about hotels near the Monach Butterfly Biosphere, I took one traveller's advice of paying an extra $20 a night and stay 40 mins further up the road to ensure I had hot water and a restaurant that was open all day. It was well worth the stay. We had the gigantic indoor pool to ourselves the first day, and could eat at any time, the restaurant was open from 6am - 1am. The bedrooms were clean and well maintained, and there was a giant spa bath in each room. It was heaven after coming back covered in dust from the Butterfly Biosphere.

Dishonesty, poor cleanliness & neighbourhood
I am hugely disappointed with the dishonesty of this hotel, and their lack of transparency. As it turns out, they charged me twice for my stay! I already paid in full when I booked online, and since I am travelling and booking hotels every week I cannot stay on top of all bookings and they just took advantage and charged me again upon check-out. Outrageous! It is now clear to me why the ladies at check-out whispered for over 10 mins and I asked various times if everything is OK and they would just say "yes, yes, all fine" and continue whispering and pointing at their screen. They must have seen my payment in their system and YET they decided to charge me again! I will NEVER stay there again! That wasn't the only downfall - but certainly the most costly. I had dead bugs in my room on the table and everywhere on the floor when I entered my room (poor cleanliness!), there was extremely poor internet connection to none, they have a non-existing business centre (still sign-posted though in the hotel), and the personnel was overall slow and not helpful. Every simple request seemed like a burden to them. The neighbourhood is dreadful. I wouldn't want to set a foot out of the hotel.
