The grounds were not only well kept with attractive plantings, the entrance to the hotel was decorated with seasonal flowers, making it especially welcoming. The lobby was super clean and inviting, the desk clerk was friendly, and the pool looked wonderful (though I did not use it - wish there was a hot tub!) Instead, we booked a room with a jetted tub and relaxed in it privately. The breakfast was better than most places with nuts, craisins, and granola for atop my yogurt. Also, I appreciated having a variety of fruit choices: bananas, apples, and oranges! Loved our stay! It was a quiet sleep in spite of being on the first floor and having the highway close by. Also, 3 nearby restaurants offer 10% off if you are staying at the Comfort Inn. We took advantage of that!

We checked in late Friday night & left Sunday. We stay every year for a kayak event since 2019. The evening receptionist was fantastic. The check out person on Sunday was petty and unprofessional.
