I enjoyed my stay and it was quiet. There is a chic fil a, Waffle House and a gas station right within walking distance. My room was clean and well stocked. I chose this hotel because it’s close to Fort Jackson and I enjoyed my stay.

As many others, we went for basic training graduation. This hotel was close to base with easy access to the highway. I saw someone post they felt the area was not safe, a highly beg to differ. Seemed like a very safe area but a basic hotel as excepted for near an Army base. Anywhere near an army base is going to be “basic”. I was surprised at how Many restaurants and everyday shopping was nearby. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, they managed to feed a large crowd for those early morning graduation goers. Staff was very friendly at check in! Only complaint was our room was serviced oddly… as in some items were restocked while coffee was not and we were given shampoo, 2 pumpable containers of conditioner, and no body wash. I did appreciate the Dove products and make-up remover supplied. Room was either cold or stuffy. I would recommend bringing a steamer if you are going to graduation.

I traveled to New York with my family for a family reunion/BBQ. The property is located off the highway next to a gas station. Parking is free; you can park in the front or back of the property. When my party and I arrived to check in, we were greeted by the front desk staff. We had issues because our room needed to be changed THREE times. Each room was dirty - hair on the bed, towels, and shower floor. We also had black dirt on the bedding. I was very disappointed. By the time we got to room number 4, we were exhausted. The walls of the rooms were very thin; you could hear conversations in neighboring rooms. Doors slammed, and loud noises from a surrounding area outside. Southern humidity causes the room to be very moist, so the walls get wet quickly. We did have the breakfast biscuits, and the sausages were hot and tasty.

The room are nice sized and the beds are comfortable. The area it is in seems a little sketchy. The biggest issue I had with it is that the rooms are SO humid that I literally felt sticky and a shirt that I had on the chair felt slightly damp when I put it on. This makes climate control much more difficult.
