Stayed at Hampton hotel for my daughter’s graduation. Very Respectful staff and excellent service. Nice and very clean rooms with free breakfast. Enjoined our staying at this hotel.
The room was clean. Tried to use guest laundry and had to hunt for someone to give quarters for the machines. Then the soap dispenser ate the coins. Maintenance arrived quickly and fixed the situation. The next night, my key card stopped working. Two cards later (and two trips downstairs), I called the front desk from my cell and maintenance arrived again. Opened the door with a crowbar and I was set. Just two rough nights in a row.
The hotel room was clean and equipped. The check in process was unique and different than one I’ve ever experienced. When we walked in, I offered my last name to the front desk staff. No request for ID, only a CC. Swiped our card and handed us the room keys. No information about incidentals, breakfast, pool hours, check out etc.
I needed a place to stay with my goldendoodle while he underwent radiation at the University. He is over 50# so some hotels won't accept him. This hotel is perfect. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. My dog was thrilled that everyone even housekeepers greeted him. :) The room was surprisingly large and very clean. The mini fridge is nice to have. The included breakfast buffet is wonderful and the staff keeps it tidy and stocked. We will definitely be back! The hotel is also only 5 min from the University Vet clinic. Thank you for a wonderful, quiet stay.
