Not as nice as expected
I wish that I had paid a little closer attention to the reviews. I’ve stayed at several VRBO rentals, and I’ve never had negative comments, but I guess there’s always a first time. Here are some of the problems with this rental….1. The noise of above tenants is A LOT. I can’t really blame the renters. They had children who were, presumably, on a vacation. But they were running around and jumping off of something bc it was extremely loud. Like, jarring right when you’re almost asleep loud. I believe it was a building problem. No bueno. 2. The entrance to the unit is down a set a stairs and through a hallway with other units. The cigarette smoke odor hits you when you open the main door. The floor down the hall was dirty and had wet shoe prints. It hadn’t rained for several days prior to our stay, and no one cleaned it during our stay. 3. The unit is quite small. The bathroom did not really work for my 6’5” bf. He had to slide sideways to turn around. 4. While the unit itself was clean (and no cigarette smoke smell, thank goodness), the couch was stained. Stained enough that we didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it without a towel. Now, for the positives. 1. The rental service was very responsive, kind and professional. We emailed about the upstairs noise, and I think they really tried to help. 2. The location is across from Memorial Park. Beautiful clean park. 3. Keyless access was a plus. We didn’t have to keep up w keys, and we felt safe. I hope this helps someone!

Great place!
This is a great place to stay with easy access to all the Springs has to offer. The description is very accurate, I can't think of anything we didn't like. We especially appreciated the detailed instructions of how to find it (we never would have found it). Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the firepit...guess we'll have to come back :)

Beautiful and comfortable
Although the neighborhood wasn't exactly stellar, the location was convenient to nearby restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. The building was attractive and well kept, and our apartment was decorated beautifully. It was quite comfortable but we did find the floor a bit dirty, the bathroom door would not close, and a dirty pan was in the oven. There were two fairly strong storms during our stay and water pooled on the kitchen floor. Although it didn't cause damage to our belongings, we were unable to remove the water (no mop) and contacted the host. She was very responsive and asked us for photos for the maintenance crew. We promptly shared photos but heard nothing further. The noise from our upstairs neighbors was rather bothersome, especially later in the evening- heavy footfalls, bumping, moving furniture, loud voices, and a dog barking. Thankfully, our comfy bed helped us relax and sleep peacefully. The light snacks and refreshments left by our host were quite nice and we enjoyed them very much. Overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We would stay again but only as upstairs guests.
