Stopped in not expecting much because I didnt know the brand. I was blown away by the cleanliness and condition of the room and fixtures. There are so many other places near but they can't compete.

Overall a good stay. Room needed a more thorough cleaning, esp flat surfaces like table, night stands and counter. Looked like staff forgot that detail. Hot tub and pool was a nice feature. Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. Parking was convenient and city shuttle to Incline was nearby, as well as a decent grocery store. Would stay again if in the area.

Spent two nights here. Comfortable beds and great location close to downtown Manitou and Colorado Springs. Clean hotel. Able to open window to air out heavy air freshener smell. Direct tv service is unreliable even on blue bird days. Good continental breakfast. Was a bit odd that cleaning service came by at 9 am on day of check out to see if they could clean when check out was at 11.

Hot tub was only warm. Room had a really bad odor, but they did move us to another room with no issue. Extra charge to check in 90 min early, which is unusual to me. Parking was good, facility was well kept and staff friendly. Convenient for driving to attractions but not really close enough to walk downtown. Gross mystery brand shampoo/conditioner/ bodywash contraption in shower instead of individual packets, which seemed like it could get contaminated by other guests if they were inclined to do so. Coffee was decent. Felt safe.

The TV did not work for 2 days. When I called the fromt desk for help they told me to pull out the cabinet, disconnect the cable and the electric, let it sit for a few minutes and they reconnect everything. They still did not work and when I tried to call again, they never answered.

We loved this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, great breakfast, and we loved the pool & hot tub. The hot tub felt nice after doing the Manitou incline! By the way, the parking to the shuttle for the incline is super close to the hotel. I wish I new that before paying for parking, but I hope it helps you. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Magnuson. The rooms were very comfortable, the staff we friendly, and the breakfast was a nice convenience. It's also a great location with an easy walk to the shuttle pickup for the Incline.

Ancient, hard, bouncy mattresses. Mattresses do not have complete covers. They use a pad under the fitted sheet, but it doesn’t completely cover the top of the mattress. Flattened, old, hard pillows. No one in the family slept well. The room seemed to be missing arm chairs/seating. There was a random floor lamp alone in the corner where a chair would normally be. The room was tired and they need to invest in better/new mattresses and pillows. The room smelled very strongly of some sort of cleaning product. I am glad they clean the room, but we had to open the window to air out the room. The continental breakfast was good and the attendant was great. She was super quick to restock and help all of the guests. The hotel was quiet and the location is good, but we would never stay there again unless they overhaul the furnishing and bedding. We spent the day after our stay tired and in pain due to the terrible beds.

AC worked well, the staff was super friendly. The room we had didn’t have a balcony which is my only negative since we paid 10 extra for a Picks Peak view.

Loved the location! We were within walking distance to the free shuttle that took you into Manitou Springs. Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City was a quick 5 minute drive away. We were also a short drive from downtown Colorado Springs. There were 4 of us and we had connecting rooms. The breakfast in the morning was good. Would definitely recommend.
