Awesome mountain views from this private entrance basement apartment. The location is central to all major Colorado Springs attractions including Downtown Colorado Springs, Pulpit Rock, UCCS, I -25 and the Air Force Academy, Garden of the gods, the Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, hiking trails, and much more! the layout is a huge studio apartment with a kitchen, king sized bed and a pull out couch that can easily sleep 2 people. Walkout onto the deck to have breakfast and enjoy the views!

The 1200 sqft, open concept, studio apartment style provides lots of room for relaxing. A large king sized bed as well as a large sectional that pulls out into a bed, provide comfortable sitting or sleeping arrangements.

Free street parking is available onsite. You can come and go as you please with the keypad locking deadbolt and private entrance.

Please honor the house quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM.

Nice Basement Apartment
This place was perfect for my stay. Large open space basement apartment with everything needed for an extended stay. The only thing that I could knock was the long, river rock, walkway around the house to the back entrance... a little tough to navigate with luggage. Decent location, safe, quiet. Overall, i would stay here again.

Just what we needed.
Really lovely property overlooking the mountains with absolutely everything you could need. I am rating it 4.5 but only because of a couple of things. David was more than helpful communication was superb but, it would have been really helpful to have provided some kind of infirmation pack in the apartment re. significant details, what to do with trash, bedding at the end of the stay and maybe even a couple of restaurant recommendations? As a starter, The Tapateria is superb. Also pipes a bit noisy at times but didn't really bother us. Hope the suggestions help. Great value for money. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

So close to excellent
Where do I start? The positives: the place was clean, clean kitchen that is fairly well equipped, great linens and towels, comfortable couch, excellent view from the back porch, and prompt communication with property manager. It does have room for improvement: the path to the back entrance need to be improved; the path needs appropriate lighting, the steps need to be built in a safer manner (the rocks are not stable, are unsafe, and it makes a rough surface where guests cannot roll their suitcases) The bed is entirely too high! The guests have to use a flimsy step to be able to climb on this bed. I am 5’9” and had a difficult time climbing on the bed. It is not very safe. Other than that, small details could be added to make the place more comfortable. there was no remote for the TV, the curtain rods keep falling off when one tried to open or close them, etc. The use of space could be improved.

Nice living space. Enjoyed the deck with view of Pikes Peak. If you plan on doing your own meals in house it’s not equipped with a stove/oven. We didn’t mind as there are plenty of options for eating out.

This unit was large, clean, well appointed and particularly well located for my needs. The owner was responsive and I felt like the price was very fair for what you got. The only negative for me was the pathway to reach the unit is difficult to navigate (especially carrying a suitcase) due to the river rock *stairs* and stepping stones that were made even worse by the lack of lighting.

Terrible communication w/ property manager.
I requested an early checkin 2 times through the VRBO messaging system. (The only communicating offered) Not one response to either inquiry. Then I called the number listed. Rang & rang then went to a voicemail box that was full and the call was over. Extremely frustrating!!!!
