An exceptional farmhouse in the middle of vineyards consisting of 2 apartments to accommodate up to 12 people (ideal for families and / or friends).
It is located in a private property of 1 hectare with among others:
a very large fenced and secure swimming pool of 15m / 7m

a trampoline
a swing…

There is also a poolhouse with two toilets and two showers by the pool.

You can also take advantage of our fresh eggs produced by our hens on site.

The village of COLLOBRIERS is about 2 kms away with its typical restaurants, small shops, etc.

Many walks in the surroundings, mountain biking, golf in VALCROS, visit of the Charterhouse of VERNE, visit of certain vineyards, the beach is 30 kms etc.

By a country path (on foot 20 minutes) you will reach the charming little village of COLLOBRIERES. It is crossed by the Le Réal Collobrier river. Along this stream by a 12th century bridge, you will discover a picturesque and typically Provençal village. The fountain on the village square is shaded by tall plane trees and the medieval streets are full of restaurants and cafes. A short walk in COLLOBRIERES will please you during your stay. You can stroll at the Sunday market in Provence. The village is an ideal starting point for hikers who wish to access the MAURES massif. (also rental of electric bikes). Possibility to visit some castles of the Côtes de Provence vineyards.

To start with some positives, the local area is stunning/the local village is lovely. The countryside views are breathtaking. The property itself is very tired/outdated and there were lots of issues that were not straight forward. For example, the Vrbo listing does not mention about having to pay extra for bed sheets / towels but the owner tried to get us to pay for this. We disagreed as it was not mentioned and he waived the linens charge and we bought our own towels. Thank god he did as the linens were paper thin and even on arrival we had to ask for more linens and pillows as some of the rooms didn't even have them on. The owner also asked us for a deposit on arrival in the form of a cheque which goes against the terms of Vrbo's website so we had to navigate that also and explain to him that any deposit requirements were covered off by the Vrbo booking process. If you want to check into the property and be left alone, this is not for you as the owners live in the building adjoined to this and are about taking care of the pool etc. This isn't explicitly stated in the listing, at the time of booking until after you've paid, Not enough parasols that worked by the pool for the number of guests that can stay in the property /not enough sun loungers (all being held down by rocks etc which would routinely blow over/not fixed to the ground). He also asked us to clean the property on checkout which is not stated as a requirement on the listing on Vrbo.

Schöner und entspannter Urlaub
Der Urlaub in Collobrieres war wunderschön. Das Haus verfügt über zwei separate Wohnungen, die wir beide benutzt haben und die ausreichend Platz für zwölf Leute boten. Die Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist herrlich und der Blick wunderschön. Mit dem Auto ist man in fünf Minuten in Collobrieres, wo es auch einen Bäcker gibt. Zum Supermarkt dauert es gute 15 Minuten und zum nächsten Strand ca 35 Minuten. Der Pool ist einzigartig: gut gepflegt und riesengroß! Besonders schön ist die Tatsache, dass er durch eine Kindersicherung abgesichert ist, sodass es auch sicher ist, wenn Nichtschwimmer-Kinder dabei sind. Der Vermieter lebt im gleichen Haus, kümmert sich täglich um den Pool und ist immer präsent und verfügbar, wenn man Fragen oder Probleme hat. Die Schlussübergabe wurde sehr gründlich durchgeführt, so weiß man als neue*r Mieter*in aber auch, dass man in eine gute Wohnung kommt.
