Enjoy our stay
The room we had was exactly as per the photos. There is no lift in the building. Luckily, the staff helped me to carry my suitcase up 1 flight of stair after check-in and down after check-out. Room is clean but the window shutter is dusty. Thick fluffy white towels. Good water pressure.

The Pier Hotel was fit for purpose, well priced in a great location. Rooms are what you'd expect for a pub. It's a lively weekend party pub with live music and a good crowd so don't stay here if you are not ok with that. Some great bars and restaurants locally and the pub food was also decent.

Rooms were basic, lots of marks on walls. Room smelled of mould very strongly, once I opened windows to try get rid of the smell all you could hear was cars and patrons at the pub. There was no aircon which made it very uncomfortable in the heat. Didn’t help that the beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very outdated and just felt dirty really needs an urgent update.

Tastefully renovated accommodation with decent beds, bright high ceilings and polite staff. Plenty of food options and the beach within easy walking distance. The shared bathroom was old but super clean and better than I expected from perusing the photos on the web site. There was no air conditioning in the rooms but that was clearly stated pre booking and was not needed for our stay in November.

Was very noise over the night due to many rooms sharing shower, rooms very close to each other. All night long were doors opening. No aircond available. Very expensive for the amenities and type of room. The “ensuit” was just a tiny room with shower. Really overpriced

The check in service was friendly, fast and efficient. Good selection and tasty meals in the bistro. Short walk from Coffs Harbour railway station. Room was a little noisy because of traffic going through round about.

The lady who checked us in was lovely. (Check in is in the front bar) We arrived around 3pm so wasnt too busy. Room 15 was a large, high ceiling room with ensuite, great pressure in the shower (beware the hot to the sink is proper hot 🔥) Room was really clean Both Friday and sat had live music, so noise was expected and we were pre told about that, but found that it wasnt really bad at all and once the music had finshed the noice depleted quickly. Bed was fairly comfy We enjoyed are stay and would stay again. We were booked in for 3 nights but the weather put a stop to the dives we were booked into so left a day early. Perfect location for where we needed to be.

Room was comfy, water pressure amazing. Noise from hotel and other guests until hotel closed. Close by industry noise till late and early. They need to advertise that there is 2 flights of stairs to the accommodation is our only major complaint. .
