Nice and comfortable

Very nice. Only complaint would be that the internet was not very good, it would go in and out. Nice comfortable beds, good size fridge, and a nice desk with a chair, as well as a microwave. No bath, but the washroom was big and the room was spacious as well. Tv was ancient, but no one really cared and we didn’t bother trying to make it work when it just came on blank. Pro tip; close the bathroom door at night and you won’t be disturbed by the sounds of water.

“Virtual Check-In” was beyond terrible! Couldn’t understand the guy on the other end. The only amenities the place had was a drink machine. Room smelled of smoke and was last updated in 1969. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work. There was no staff anywhere. AC only worked on high. Heat had no fan. Pool was a bright green color. Im guessing if you went in you would come out with some disease unknown to man. Beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.

Room needed so much maintenance. One bedframe had nearly fallen apart, the microwave was missing parts, lots of water damage in bathroom. Expedia says they have breakfast; they don’t. Worst were the cheap mattresses and pillows combined with curtains that didn’t block the building lights well at all. Haven’t slept so badly for a long time.

They didn’t give us enough towels for the first day and refused to give us more. Then on the second day housekeeping took our old towels, without replacing them—leaving us with no towels. They also didn’t clean the room. They just came in and stole the limited towels we had. When I went to the front desk, there was no front desk person, except a virtual front desk person who couldn’t help us. He said someone would come and bring us towels and clean the room at 7pm. No one showed up. I had Expedia try to get us help and they couldn’t help us, either. I asked for a refund and the hotel refused and Expedia refused. Besides all that, there were drunk people outside our room in the parking lot, screaming all night and people up all night in the room above us—screaming and stomping. There were sirens all the time like it was the bad side of town. It felt unsafe. I’ll never stay there again or trust another Expedia reservation.

Uncleaned room, horrible experience.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned. There was an old towel, hair accessories and used shampoo and soup in the shower/bathroom from previous guests. There was not a battery in the smoke detector. The carpet with stained and gross. It seemed that the hotel was being remodeled and some rooms were not in the same state that ours were. When we mentioned these things to the staff at check out, they did not apologize. They just said "thank you for letting us know." I will never stay at a Rodeway Inn again. I possibly won't use hotels.com again. The pictures of the room and hotel did not match AT ALL the reality of the hotel and room we were given.

In our 3 day stay, room service came by our room once and didn’t clean our room. In fact, they just took our soap and towels and didn’t replace them. We asked for towels and toilet paper multiple times at the “front desk” (just a virtual kiosk of someone not on site), but we never got any. Had to end up buying toilet paper ourselves. On top of that, the toilet was wobbly and constantly trickled. Only ever saw a real member of staff a single time while there, and it was when checking out

Kiosk check in

Check in was via kiosk. Wasnt loud enough to hear. Had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Was not very helpful with amentied hotel may have offered. House keepers were very respectful and polite. Bed was lumpy but doable. Loud music was played from 0640am to 2200 at night. Carpet was stained. Paint peeling off door but wasnt expecting much just wanted a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Not worth the price

There was a problem with the tv & remote so we had to switch rooms after we wasted about an hour of our time. Otherwise it’s clean the pool is clean & it provides you with the basics for an affordable price. Housekeeping is nice!

We didnt like the check in and didnt like having to walk acriss the street to get to the pool which was much smaller than expected and there was no hot tub. It was disappointing compared to other Rodeway Inns we have stayed at.
