Was very surprised and relieved when entering the room.. well kept and clean. Disappointed in the breakfast as it didn’t open when it was supposed to and we couldn’t wait around. All in all tho was great especially for the price!

The room was as expected for the price. Not bad for an old place. The owner was very friendly and mostly helpful. The free continental breakfast was acceptable. The only problem was our neighbors decided to have a dance party till 4am. We mentioned it to the owner in the morning and he seemed to be aware that it happened but did nothing about it. That was not so great...

Nice quiet motel. Owners are very nice. Very close to the Polar Bear Express. Outdoor activities are nearby. Grocery store nearby.

The motel was conveniently located right off the highway. There were some typical amenities within walking distance. The facilities are dated, though it's obvious from the piles of debris around, the proprietor is in process of renovating. The "free breakfast" was a very limited attempt and left us walking down the road to get coffee and muffins.

It’s ‘ok’ if you aren’t fussy and are just looking for a place to sleep. It’s an old place, but was a very busy place - no vacancies when we arrived. The good: Beds were clean and comfortable. Sink-tub-toilet were clean. TV/wifi service was easy to navigate (have been finding tv/wifi service to be a major source of frustration at many facilities, which sucks at the end of a long day when you just want to chill for a bit, so this was appreciated). It was quiet. The owners/management/staff were all really lovely, kind people. The bad: Shower curtain was disgusting. Furnishings were worn/dated (…that’s not really a big deal to us). Walls/doors/counters/carpets/baseboard heaters were worn/broken/dirty. Considering how busy they were - my opinion is that they could do better. Overall, I was comfortable enough staying there. Would I stay there again? If I had to. There are limited choices in the area.

When I got to my room, door was unlocked. Previous tenant bottles of shampoo/body wash still in washroom. Empty toilet paper roll. Garbage bag still outside.

The room was clean, the staff were polite and courteous - the parking lot though leaves much to be desired as if you are not careful you will bottom out in places, which could result in a costly repair
