Loved the history of this hotel with the NASA connection. Great breakfast in the morning with usual choices, along with hot items of eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast & pancakes. Muffins, Pop-tarts and other items if u needed a quick grab & go. Free water. Right across the street from the airport, but no noise.

This was a very unique hotel. It was a building built for NASA. The building was called the DEB (developmental engineering building) building. The rooms were very spacious, quiet, and very clean. It was direclty across the street from Nasa and the airport. Next door is a nice restaurant called the Aviator. Other than that restaourant no other eating places were close. My only complaint was that there really wasn't much place to go for a walk except the parking lot. I would definitely stay there again while visiting Cleveland.

It was a nice place until the power went out the last two days of my stay. Cold showers, no tv and no lights. Hallways were pitch black. I was forced to check out a day earlier of my full stay.

A very unique property--it formerly belonged to NASA, which has the research center at the Cleveland airport across the street. Very modern upgrades and a very good price find.

Just loved everything about this hotel. First the price was very reasonable for being so close to the airport. I loved the shuttle, the staff, the breakfast. Most of all the design of the rooms an hotel were awesome

The first room we checked into had a toilet that someone had used (not #1) and the toilet was backed up. When informed of this, the clerk put us into another room and when we picked up the ice bucket to get ice, it had a dirty cotten swab and waste paper in it.

Really enjoyed staying at this very unique property conveniently located near the airport. Very clever decorating! Appreciated the shuttle to nearby restaurant, too. Three things the bathroom could use, however - brighter lighting, non-slip addition to the shower floor and wall-mounted magnifying mirror.

Booked and paid in full online. At check-in it was discovered there was no power (no lights, no hot water, no A/C, no amenities). No power was consequences of severe storms, but booking and accepted payment, and partial refund unacceptable. No notice of unavailability until standing in lobby attempting to check in. No power was known well in advance of scheduled stay.

This property is perfect if you have to catch a plane out of Cleveland or into Cleveland. It is literally minutes away from the airport gates and car rental return or pick up. It has a free airport shuttle running every 20/30 minutes, which was wonderful It's a fun, quirky place that is not your average hotel stay. It was an old NASA building that was converted into a hotel. The check in was a breeze and the staff were all friendly and excellent. The rooms were comfortable, clean and great lighting with the huge windows. It was a little funky to find at first, when you arrive there is a huge parking lot and the first building you go to is a place that seems to be a residential building where people actually live. Then you see the small sign on the door to let you know the Orbit hotel is the next building over. Sure enough as you drive your car to the last building, you will finally see "The Orbit Hotel" signage. They could do a LOT better at making it more clear on exactly where the hotel is. Just a few more signs to direct people to the exact spot would have been nice. However, my son, who had to catch an earlier flight before us, got to eat the free breakfast that they offered and he stated it was the best hotel breakfast food he ever had at a hotel. And he is a picky eater. I did not eat the breakfast, but that review coming from him was noteworthy. He said it tasted like fresh ingredients, not store bought. A HUGE plus! Rating for us from CA, A Would recommend.

The property is cool. We liked the mid-century modern furniture and feel a lot. Our room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was decent! The staff members were kind, friendly, and helpful. Parking was plentiful.
