I made a reservation in April at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Beachwood, OH, location for my birthday in July. The reservation process & confirmation ph calls were great. The front desk personnel via the phone were very courteous
& helpful.
When prompted by email/text to check-in the night before, I was not able to. Curiously, I was able to select my room, but the digital check-in & digital key options were not functioning. Upon arrival, there were guests waiting for their rooms to be readied, & I was third in line. The suite that I had reserved wasn't ready, so I was offered another one 'exactly the same'. Then the suite was changed again! It took a 'minute' to get me registered & program the room keys. Very nice front desk ladies, but slow.
The main elevator was out, so it was a long walk to the rear elevator, & another long walk back to my suite.
The suite was very spacious & comfortable. Having a kitchen complete with dishes & utensils was great!
The cleanliness of the pullout couch pillows & mattress (stained), & the cleanliness of the master bathroom floor, was not the best. Also, the master bedroom had a big empty space in it where a comfortable chair & sidetable should have been placed.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, but could use a little love for the nicks in the woodwork & furniture, & cleanliness.
Pool & hot tub were great! Complimentary towels were a plus.
Checkout was fast & easy.
The family enjoyed their stay, & I would stay their again.
