Booked two months prior and on my booking form I had a queen size bed and two single beds, for a family with two children 11 and 14. After paying for the room and getting into the room, I discovered I had a double bed and a double sofa bed. I had specifically booked the single beds for my children, and I didn't want a sofa bed as they aren't particularly comfortable. The rooms so moved you had to get into your bed from the bottom of the bed as there was no room to get out the side of the bed. I complained to the girl in the reception, Alexandra, she just really didn't care, advising me that on booking this room, the beds I booked were already booked out. So I asked, you lied then when I booked this room, and she replied yes. I asked for my money backs I was going to find another hotel room but she said she couldn't give me a refund. I asked to speak to the manager but she advised me the manager was on holiday for two weeks. I asked for the managers email address but she didn't want to give it to me. " what does it matter, there are no other rooms", " it's the same price, as the other room". As if I was getting a bargain. I was trapped and this was part of my holiday. I have massive issues with hotels.com too as I rang them, who said they would relocate me, they needed to speak to the reception of Albert Elisabeth hotel but 2 members of hotel.com tried ringing but no one picked up the phone. Awful hostel style "hotel" . Thishotel is not in a chain, it is a one off.
