Our tents in the trees do not have electricity or heat. The rest of our accommodations at River Mountain do. That's what makes these tents an oh-so-special stay. Time among the trees -- there's not much better.
These stunning tents sleep up to four people with two queen beds, an indoor sitting space, outdoor firepit, charcoal grill, and outdoor seating.
BONUS!! -- FREE happy hour with draft beer and sangria available every day from 5pm - 6pm in our historic 1807 Old Log Cabin. Toast the day as the sun sets with gorgeous views alongside other River Mountain guests! Complimentary coffee and tea is also available each morning in the Old Log Cabin.
Indoor, modern restrooms and showers are located nearby in our main lodge, a short stroll up the trail.
Bedding, linens, and towels are provided -- please bring a few more blankets as well just to ensure you're extra cozy and warm during your stay.
Please bring a flashlight, lantern, and/or battery powered lighting. We provide some lighting via solar and battery as well.
At River Mountain, our kitchen prepares fresh and delicious meals every day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Upon booking a reservation, you will receive a direct link to order any meals you'd like during your stay.
We also have a guest kitchenette available for your use. Located in the nearby main lodge, the kitchenette has: a full-size refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee pot, dishwashing sink, washer, and dryer.
Guided experiences, campfire kits, charcoal, and ice are also available for guests to order and purchase prior to arrival. These items are included in the same meal order link you'll receive upon making a reservation.

Tent in the Trees guests also have access to all the amenities at River Mountain, including our hiking trails, fishing pond, nightly happy hour and campfire, activity barn (ping pong, cornhole, bocce, jenga, and many other games), and concierge service to activities in the area.
