Nice for the off season
Our room was beautiful and Stephen was helpful. He had breakfast for us each morning. This is a nice place to go if you like a secluded vacation. We felt it was a bit secluded though. Nothing really in the surrounding area for hours by boat or car. The beach at the resort is nice and does have kayaks to borrow. There is one rustic beachfront bar/ restaurant. Not fancy, but will fulfill your needs.
We were a little disappointed with all the dogs, lack of fresh drinking water and rule to not use AC unless in bed. Cleanliness was not exactly up to par, but wasn’t horrible either. No refrigerator in bedroom and fresh water needs to be bought. Ice was hard to come by. At first we were told there were not keys available for our room. Some of the house rules took us by surprise and thought they should be mentioned on the website.
Host was helpful and passionate about his ideas of how his guests stay should look.
We were unaware of the beliefs of the host but were quickly made aware with the statues and yoga studio on grounds.
We thoroughly enjoyed the adventure on the water with David from the other resort. Our favorite was probably going out to the barrier reef and eating our fresh finds on the boat and for dinner afterwards! What a treat!
