We booked the hotel last minute on a spur of the moment trip for 2 nights. I think (didn’t do any research into it) that we arrived on the start of off season. We were literally the only guests in the whole resort. There was no WiFi (it was “broke”) and the room had quite a few dead bugs in it. No onsite food halls were open either. Despite this, It was comfortable and in a wonderful location. The next night we came back from hiking and had a spider the size of my fist in our bathroom. The hotel staff tried to suck it up with a vacuum, the spider won, and they ended up moving us to the next door cabin, which was WAY nicer than our original one. This one had no dead bugs and had newer screens on the bathroom openings and softer beds. With the whole situation, and how friendly the staff was, and quick to show up with a vacuum at night, we’d stay here again.
