Overall a very good stay. The staff were great and the area is very nice. The room itself was a little too hot for my liking and I didn’t see a way to change the temperature. Cleanliness was great and would stay here again.

Yikes
Not the motel's fault, but the craft service table for "Chicago Fire" set up directly outside the window of our original room at 4AM. Prior to that, nothing but slamming doors all night. The motel staff was kind and moved us when requested, but this was overall a pretty terrible stay. I am unlikely to return. If you're considering it, be aware this is a very busy area and the motel is mostly ground floor rooms. I'm trying to add pictures, but the app isn't letting me.

Front desk agent was amazing! She had a busy night when we checked in and was so patient with everyone. She walked us through setting up the channels for the new tv in our room quickly. The room was super clean and fresh. Will stay again!

Motel is a basic facility, but it's all I needed - a clean , safe place to sleep for a night. My room was excessively warm, but a visit to the front desk took care of that. My only real concern was that there were no sprinklers in the room. I WOULD use Ohio House again.

It was in a very convenient part of the city. The Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no temperature control in the room, it got pretty warm at night, and we had to sleep with the windows open to be comfortable. It was a noisy part of the city, which leaving the window open only exacerbated, and ear plugs only helped so much. Also, leaving the windows open also lead to being bit up by mosquitos a couple of the nights.

The Ohio House motel is such a great deal for the area. The staff was fantastic, and I love the deli for on-site food options. Just know that it’s noisy, both inside (hard floors in the hallways) and outside (one of the most trafficky areas in Chicago for both vehicles and drunk pedestrians).
