The room was clean but extremely hot. We couldn’t sleep after a very long day of moving. I had to call the front desk twice and the second time they turned the air on but it turned off pretty soon after. Each room should have control of its AC, that’s pretty standard in a hotel. Also, the front desks answer was to 1) close the vent to prevent hot air which was 10 feet off the ground or 2) open the window. We had to close the windows because someone was screaming under it for 10 minutes straight and constant ambulance and fire trucks passing. I’m aware of the location, downtown is busy, that’s fine, but it was extremely inconvenient and not a solution. The noise was so much we opted to sleeping in the heat. I woke up in a pool of sweat. I honestly want to charge back. The cherry on top was housekeeping knocking on the door at 10AM. Checkout is 11AM. She asked if we were extending since we weren’t out yet. I told her no, and went back to sleep for 20 minutes just exhausted. Wouldn’t stay again. Staff was friendly but this wasn’t what I expected.
